After giving birth, I got heart failure, but no one prescribed me any medication. I requested an appointment with doctor and was told I would have to wait about a year. I asked the doctor to call me, making the request more than five times, but all were refused. They only replied via text, telling me to wait. Later, I spent thousands of pounds to go to a private hospital, where the doctor prescribed me medication. This is racial discrimination because I am an Asian woman. It's utterly inhumane!

Dr. Jackie Belbeck should seriously reconsider her position in the medical profession. During two separate phone consultations with a close family member, she provided entirely contradictory medical advice — not just inconsistent, but mutually exclusive — delivered in an unnecessarily brusque and dismissive manner. What’s more disturbing is that she proceeded to sarcastically mock my family member’s description of the side effects she was experiencing — side effects caused by a medication Dr. Belbeck herself had prescribed. Such behaviour is not only unprofessional, but verges on outright bullying. To compound the issue, Dr. Belbeck then denied the existence of a prescription medication that I personally take — one that is both widely known and medically documented. Her tone throughout was hostile and derisive, and she ultimately ended the call abruptly with no effort to offer support or resolution. I was present during the calls and heard everything clearly over speakerphone. Based on this direct experience, I feel compelled to warn others: avoid Dr. Jackie Belbeck's services at all costs. Her conduct poses a serious risk to patient wellbeing, and in my view, she is far more likely to cause long-term harm than to treat even the most minor condition with care or competence.

I have had amazing experiences with nurse Jayne Bennett and Dr. Belbeck. But I’ve I had a very disappointing experience with this practice today. I had taken time off work specifically for a blood test appointment that was scheduled at what I believed was their new location. No one informed me that the appointment was actually set at the old location—which I thought had been closed. I arrived at the new location to find it closed, so I called to clarify, only to be told, without any apology, that I had "obviously missed" my appointment. I had actually arrived early, and once I realized the mix-up, I explained that I could be at the correct location in 10 minutes if they could still see me. I emphasized that I had taken time off work and that this was not my mistake. Unfortunately, I was completely ignored and only offered the option to rebook for another day—meaning I now have to take even more time off work. At no point did anyone apologize or take responsibility for the confusion. The lack of empathy and basic courtesy was really disheartening. I left feeling truly disappointed.

I do not recommend this medical centre. Getting help here feels impossible even you're in a life-threatening condition. The waiting time for an appointment is at least a week, and when you finally get one, they often just tell you to go to the emergency department instead. The staff lacks professionalism and does not seem to care about patients' needs. A very frustrating and unhelpful experience.

They are totally unable to keep appointments. Time and again I've arrived early, and l-o-n-g after the appointment time has passed... had to go to reception to make another appointment... which again they won't keep. Pure luck if you're seen, more likely you'll be ignored once you've signed in. They simply don't care...

This GP has been so insensitive and dismissive towards me while recovering from an injury with an open wound. They were unable to give me any appointments for a month to change my wound dressing, which should have been seen to daily according to the surgeon. the receptionists are incompetent and unable to communicate with their patients, ive turned up to at least 3 appointments and the receptionists have turned me away after changing my appointment and not telling me.

Typical central Bristol gp centre, not fit for purpose and a danger to the public. As a patient, they gave me an overdose of dangerous painkillers and refused to help when they made me ill, or with aftercare of coming of them so I left. As a walk in centre my mother had an accident, they gave her the all clear and sent her home. She was in lots of pain, we took her to A&E who found she had several cracked ribs.

I only really come here for a very specific type of appointment so my experience probably doesn't match up to the norm. Staff on the second floor are courteous and professional which is more than I can say for the first floor staff.
