Mariyam was absolutely incredible. I was nervous for my appointment, and I'm usually dismissed in medical appointments when I tell them I'm autistic and ADHD but Mariyam was wonderfully aware and accomodating. She was really friendly, thorough, patient, great at explaining things and she put me at ease straight away. I would highly recommend seeing Mariyam, thank you so much for your time.

The service was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Sam was fantastic for both my eye test and the advice he gave my wife. He's a real asset to Specsavers

Very well looked after at my appointment and subsequent return to adjust fitting. I'm very pleased with the lenses, a great improvement on previous. However, I will have to return again as having problems with the new, slightly larger, frames fitting over hearing aids!

Had had a number of reminds that my eye test was overdue and thought I should go. I received a wam welcome. And everyone that dealt with me were very friendly and helpful. And now I have my lovely new reading glasses. Would highly recommend.

Sam the optician was wonderful at my sons check up appointment, as were all of the lovely ladies we encountered to help with the tests and sorting out his new glasses. They all made him feel welcome and at ease, and Sam spoke to him on a great level all appointment. Thank you!

We were very impressed with all the service we received by the staff of the Clevedon branch of Specsavers. Both Jessica and Katie were exemplary and Specsavers are lucky to have such employees.

I am absolutely disgusted to hear about my poor mums recent experience at specsavers, Clevedon. She is a lovely lady who works so hard to offer 24/7 care for her mum so often has little to no time for herself. Heading out of the house was a big deal as she suffers with labyrinthitis which makes daily tasks a huge challenge. All throughout her appointment, she was belittled, undermined and made to feel simply stupid. With labyrinthitis, you often struggle to follow objects with your eyes without feeling very wobbly so reading is often challenging and following small objects such as the little red dot you have to follow when having your eyes tested is almost impossible. After completing the red dot test and struggling with it, my mum heard the opticians laughing in the side room, saying, “did she even try? Well that’s a fail isn’t it?” This made my mum feel absolutely worthless. They then asked her to read some lettering on a piece of paper, which my mum held the piece of paper closer to her eye-line to view it. The optician snapped at her, saying, “well you wouldn’t read a book like that.” My mum was too flabbergasted to even answer back or to challenge them and left feeling very deflated and that she was the problem. This has really upset me hearing how she was treated and has totally knocked her self confidence having to engage with anyone else in case they are too rude or inconsiderate.

I’ve used Specsavers in Clevedon for Years after poor service elsewhere. Although the staff team seem the change a lot as soon as you get used to a friendly face they move but the replacements are as helpful and friendly as you would expect. I wear glasses and contacts so use both services with no problems. Just had new glasses and have been back several times for a better fit and nothing was too much trouble.

Firstly I’d like to say I always buy my new glasses from this store and I’ve always been very happy with their range of glasses and the help I have received, I bought two new pairs a few weeks ago and I knew something was wrong with one pair after wearing them for a couple of days so I took them back and the help I received with the issue was brilliant, they replaced the frame and lenses, they rang me up when they were ready to collect and booked me an appointment so if they need adjusting they would do it at the same time, yet when I went to collect them at my given time I stayed by the door as I had forgotten my mask I woman came over took my name and returned with my glasses which I tried on and they were way to loose so I asked if they could be slightly adjusted very slightly but she refused and told me I needed another appointment, I explained I lived along way away and that I had this appointment for the adjusting and she refused again, so I left as I didn’t like her attitude, she has definitely hasn’t the right attitude for working in that store, as the rest are always so friendly and helpful. I would of given 5 stars but her attitude put my review down to 4 stars.
