Absolutely fantastic! The food was delicious, the menu had a huge variety, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Plus, there's plenty of parking. I've already bookmarked this place to come back!
We had a lovely family meal, and the staff were so friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Amazing cocktails and all the food was delicious. There was a DJ playing tunes, which gave a great atmosphere. We enjoyed the whole evening and can't wait to visit again.
Turkish and Mediterranean restaurant with great food service and fab range of beverages in the edge of the village. Friendly accommodating staff, fair size carpark (get there early to make sure you get a space) and nice views of the windmill opposite. 2 for 1 cocktails on Thursdays!
Went for lunch, and i have to say the food is excellent. More impressive was the value for what you got from the lunch menu. I love Turkish food and wasn't disappointed. Also had other non-Turkish food like burgers, steak, and pasta; so all in all, a great menu. I found the decor quite sterile, but that is made up by excellent friendly service. Highly recommend.
It was a birthday dinner and it was fantastic. Food was delicious and best part was the cocktail. It was very busy on a Tuesday evening so would definitely recommend to book in advance. I would love to go back and definitely recommend to try their cheese & garlic mushrooms ☺️
It started a little hectic as one of our tables was cancelled as they thought it was a duplicate booking… considering we walked in at a very busy time (14 of us), with a little hiccup, we had a lovely warm welcome… lovely family atmosphere… served warm bread and dips whilst waiting for starters… main course was timed perfectly. Could not fault the staff, service or the food. Kings Arms is back on the map, well done, we’ll see you again soon..
My husband, daughter & myself fancied a last minute Sunday lunch so were fortunate to get a table in The Kings Arms. It’s a lovely cosy friendly pub and has new owners. We hadn’t been to the pub for a while. They have been in for about 7 months. Sunday roast was excellent. We started with homemade soup of the day which was lovely. Beef roast dinner was cooked just right and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it. I complimented on choice of background music which is excellent and my type of music and not played too loudly. Will definitely be returning for another Sunday roast and / or try their lunches. Just wish we lived that little bit closer so we could make it our local.
Nice place as looks recently renovated. Starter was nice. Mains restricted to roast or fishcakes, or should I say fishcake as you only get one. Two fishcakes should be standard as they are not huge. Eton mess pudding was nice. Overall a disappointing long wait between each course, as we had pre-ordered. Feels like more staff needed to get on top of it. Could be made more special with a wider menu and attention to service, although have to say the guys were really friendly.
Good food but was let down by inexperienced service. Booked a family birthday for 18. Not very welcoming when we arrived, room was really cold when we first arrived. Not good for elderly relatives. Weren’t served at our table for drinks, people had to keep going to bar unless we call them over to our table when we caught there eye. They were nice enough to bring the cake out singing happy birthday but just needed more attention. Also communication on email about event was poor we never got confirmation emails back.
