   Booked on line for Christmas Eve for a family meal for 14 people, arrive for the meal to find out no booking on there system despite having a confirmation email in November that the booking was made. No table free and food was being stopped serving at 5 pm. Not happy.

   One of my worst experiences in my life. They destroyed my birthday day. I booked few tables on 16th from 19:30 for my birthday. We been 12 adults and 4 kids which was mentioned on the phone to the booking team and nobody was mentioned to me, I have to stay until 21:00 only. We ordered the food around 19:45 and we waiting 45 min for the food to come. They was short staff was the argument from the supervisor. We start eating and I want to ordering the more drinks but on the service bar was only two lady's working and they was eating in one of the front table. I didn't want to disturb their dinner, So, I go back and wait for them to finish. After 15 minutes one of the lady's come to the table and ask if I want to order more drinks. I said yes and she pick some empty plates and left After 5 minutes comes with the supervisor and tell me I have to go because is 21:00 o'clock and we have kids and they don't served us anything else I have try to discussed with the supervisor to buy our last drinks and finish the food, but she said in her shift nobody stays more than 21:00 and we need to leave. Taking in consideration few weeks ago we have other party and the same supervisor allowed us to stay until 23 she didn't said anything about 21:00 kids policy and other multiple times with different stuff they never mentioned to us to go at 21:00. So, I have asked to speak with the person how booked me in or the owner but she refuses.Moreover she left and tell me she will be back until she finish to served the customers how was waiting to be served. But she never come back she send the other lady to deal with me. The supervisor was very unprofessional, poor experience and very rude I think she doesn't deserve to be a superior taking in consideration the way how she deal with my situation. The other lady comes back and she apologised for the situation take my phone number and tell me someone will contact me next day but I have to leave now. So we left the food on the plates and left. Nobody get back to me until now still waiting. Overall, Very poor service, very dirty toilets toilets.I will never come back in this place again, never recommended to my friends and family again.

   Food was lovely, and service was amazing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Me and my partner ordered the mac and cheese with bacon, and a mixed grill. The mac and cheese was extremely cheesy and the bacon was juicy, and the steak in the mixed grill was cooked to perfection. We also decided to go for dessert, the chocolate fudge cake, which was just as good as the mains.

   Ate dinner with family last night. Reserved a particular table for 5 o’clock ordered at 5.17 ( time on order) when only other customers where one table for 5 men eating and one table of two eating. Other customers came in at 5.30 and got their food at 5.55. I queried at the counter with an older lady that the food seemed to be taking a long time and was told there were several large ticket orders in. I have no idea where these people were as I walked around the restaurant and couldn’t see them. When I said we had been waiting nearly an hour. She said no you put your order in at 5.20. Time now was approaching 6.06 food eventually arrived. No apology when food arrived just plonked on the table as if we were in the wrong for querying the delay. Steaks were cooked completely wrong one person wanted rare was given what can only be described as well done. Another one was rare so we all had to swap food. My fish was nice enough. Didn’t dare order desserts as didn’t want to wait another hour and we had to be at an appointment for 7. I personally wouldn’t return but my father eats there regularly but he was disappointed that the place he recommended for our goodbye meal was having timing problems and staff seemed very stressed even though the place was mostly empty.

   The garden is dirty needs cleaning badly parking is a bump just a way to make moneys from people, I would understand if the pub was located in a town center but there is nothing there just a pub on a roundabout, bump! I received a parking ticket even though I am sure i entered my car registration as I have done on every viest

   We booked a table for Sunday late afternoon/early evening, wasn't exactly necessary, busy but still tables available. Parking is good enough, remember to register your number plate at the bar if you do use the car park. So, sat immediately because we'd booked a table, a nice big printed a4 piece of paper with my entire name on and then left there with us after we'd been seated. Why not take it away and throw it? Instead leave it on the table? Okay.... Told us to go up to the bar to order when we're ready but, you can order from the table, which she didn't bother to mention. We were warned immediately they had no roasts at all... On a Sunday?!?! Use the QR code, sign up and get a free drink, also order from the "comfort" of your own table. A lot easier. Atmosphere wasn't great, there were sports on, so lots of loud patrons, screaming at a TV.... But worse, one waitress, talking to the next table, loud and just moaned!! Moaned about her hours and her colleagues. Unfortunately she wasn't wearing a name tag, otherwise I'd definitely put her name in here because she made the loud sports fans quiet and was just absolutely annoying and unprofessional. We ordered a bottle of white wine, it was chilled (as it should) but just brought and left on the table, no bucket, nothing to keep it chilled while it just sat there. So I asked for a bucket with ice to keep it chilled... See photo. The wine glasses were warm, warmer than warmer. Fair enough if they've been cleaned but you don't serve warm glasses to drink chilled wine from... Went for the cheapest wine because from what we'd experienced so far, we didn't have high expectations for the food and we weren't wrong. The starts came out like a fast food restaurant. As you can see, my calamari was in a bowl but dropped inside was some sauce from a paper cup you get at McDonald's (also what they use at hospital to dispense medication). Calamari was plain and boring, best part was the sauce. I had a medium-rare steak, this was more medium than rare. There should be a little bit of blood and there was none. Oh well, the 3 onion rings it came with were actually nice! Not smothered in oil and didn't just taste like batter. Only good thing about the meal. The sweet potato fries are the WEIRDEST fries I've ever had! They were floopy and smooth. Never have I ever, had sweet potato fries taste, feel or look like this. The whole main was luke warm at best... My wife ordered the chicken fajitas and was given a sizzling plate and then a normal plate covered with the toppings, nowhere to construct her fajitas but managed to do it while holding everything in her hands. Why not give another plate?! It's not rocket science. Couldn't ask for an additional plate because no one bothered to come and check on things and why should we have to get up, go to the bar and chase someone while our food gets cold(er). Table next to us, sent back their chicken because it was raw inside. The waiter came back and told him they'll make him a fresh one but the chef said it was just a vein and it was completely cooked.... Ha. The best part of this so far loud and disappointing evening was the dessert. However, it doesn't come as described. The addional pimped out chocolate added is meant to be melted, instead it's just been thrown on. But like I said, still the best course. The brownie was warm, fully of chocolate flavour and not an overkill. Service was, other than the loud, short, dark haired woman, was fine. But seemed more interested socialising amongst themselves. No one bothered to ask how any course was, took a long time to clear our plates... Just all in all, a disappointment. There's plenty of outdoor seating, couldn't see any outdoor heating. Just saying. We will not be going back. Ever. 2 stars, just for that one brownie. Otherwise 0 stars all the way.

   We came for dinner and a few drinks and it was lovely. Great atmosphere and great customer service from the team at the bar and waiters. Ben had been dealing with our whole table and was so polite and answered all questions and problems we had which was so helpful. We will definitely be coming back.

   3 of us all had a lovely meal and desert yesterday. Food was well cooked with good portion size and also good prices. The brownie was delicious and the chocolate fudge cake was huge. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely return.
