   I stopped for an early drink and dinner one Tuesday evening. Nice pub. Not busy at all then. The pub part and restaurant located inside called TJ's Kitchen appear to be run separately. If you want a drink, order it at the bar. You then have to order and pay separately in the restaurant part if you want food. The food was good. I had the lamb biryani which came with raita and two poppadom's. The biryani and raita were perfect. The biryani wasn't too spicy and generous with the lamb. The raita was refreshing with a slight hint of sweetness. My small negative was the poppadom's, which were oily. Would recommend otherwise. Very reasonably priced. Clean. Staff at the bar and the restaurant were all friendly and pleasant. Efficient service.

   This review is specific to one takeaway only and only serves to give feedback.This place does excellent food- superb and I will order from here again. However, on Sunday evening we ordered takeaway - masala chicken and methi lamb- the worst curries I have ever had from you....!!! In disbelief, as this is my favourite place to order Indian takeaway from! We drive half an hour each way because it's usually that good! Not sure what happened this time...

   Went on Sunday withal a group of friends briyani was too salty. Chilli chicken was chicken drumsticks covered in marinade. Chilli paneer had the same marinade and the lamb kebabs tasted raw. Chef said there was nothing wrong with the food.

   Toni is a gifted cook. A gem of a place in an unassuming corner pub setting. It’s worth us travelling from Essex to this welcoming dining experience.

   Great service and they have a good beer garden area with 6 seater cabins with heating and light and Tv. Very well looked after by the staff and they serve Indian food. The food from the starters to mains all cooked well and full of classic flavours and fresh. For starters we had Garlick Mogo, chicken pakora, tj special wings which were great with a crispy coating. Mains went for a lamb and chicken dish as well as a veg curry and rice and must say I will be looking to go again and this time do a full review with photos and videos.
