   Both of my daughters attend this nursery. My eldest started at 2.5 years old and took a very long time to settle. The staff were incredibly patient and reassuring. They could see I was worried, and Shelley was always more than happy to listen to my concerns and reassure me. She has finally settled and now enjoys going to nursery. She started without knowing any English, as we don’t speak it at home, but she’s picked up so much and communicates really well now. My youngest started at 13 months, and I was very anxious. I needn’t have worried — she kicks her little legs in excitement when she sees Jay! She’s very happy at nursery, and I think her communication is great for her age (as it is for quite a few of the children). She didn’t start walking until 20 months, but all the staff went the extra mile to help her start walking. There’s a lovely balance of structured learning and free play. Now that my eldest is preschool age, they’ve been helping prepare her for school, which is wonderful. They have a nice little garden as well as a sheltered play area, and they also take the children on little walks and to the local park. The menu offers a variety of hot meals that change every term — honestly, much nicer than the lunches I have! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have picked a better nursery. I’m very happy and highly recommend it.

   OUAT Eastcote has been brilliant in nurturing and bringing our boy’s personality out since he has been there having joined at 10 months. Francesca and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to choose this nursery. There is a family feel about the team who are all great. A big thank you to Amy and Jay in particular.

   Both my children attended OUAT Eastcote over the last five years and they loved it.  Having such a wonderful nursery to send our children to made returning to work much easier.  We knew they were safe and having lots of fun and, at times, my children didn't want to leave! The Eastcote management team and all the staff are amazing, so caring and supportive. They supported me with my children's learning and development needs, helping to ensure they overcame challenges and were fully reception ready.  My children loved the outside garden area and enjoyed the regular trips to the field and park next to the nursery and places in Eastcote. The nursery and the team were such a wonderful part of our lives and we'll miss them all hugely. Highly recommend it as a loving place to send your children.

   Our daughter has been attending this nursery for over 2 years. In that time we have been constantly impressed by how our child has developed under the professional, kind and friendly care of the amazing staff. If level of care and the opportunity to flourish are your main priorities then we would definitely recommend sending a child to Once Upon A Time. The Nursery building may not look like a fancy space, but the staff have mastered it, making it a flexible, varied and stimulating environment for kids to develop in. We love that they have good private outdoor space and regularly encourage the children to engage in outdoor activity. We get regular reports on our child's progress and the nursery also gives us opportunities to give feedback and influence our child's learning priorities. The nursery is brilliant, the staff are brilliant and our child is flourishing - I'm not sure there is much more that a parent can ask for.

   My daughter loved going to this nursery. She has learnt a lot through playing, from numbers and letters to, what impressed me the most, the solar system and she can now tell all the planets! She is now at reception and the teacher has expressed how impress she is with her knowledge! I also love the location, the park literally by their doorstep makes the nursery a dream place to be!

   My husband and I are very happy we chose this nursery for our kids. The decision was based originally on a very convenient location for us but we do not regret it a bit. My daughter loved going there (she is now in reception) and my son is the happiest boy when I leave him with the lovely staff every morning. The little ones learn a lot by sharing the space with the older ones and the older ones learn to care for the little ones at the same time. They all have a very special bond. The age group activities are lots of fun (cooking, singing, building, gardening, painting, woods /park / library/shops outgoings.. and so much more). It all helps them to develop their confidence and very valuable skills for later in life. My almost 2 years old son has become very confident and independent since joining the nursery about year ago and I couldn't thank them enough. The staff works together with you to achieve the goals you want your children to achieve and there is a very good flow of communication. Another thing I value a lot about the nursery is that regardless of the weather the children play outside a lot and get the right amount of fresh air (very important for the little ones). There are also many activities the parents can join in which allow you to see and experience how they work with the children. The menus have changed a lot in the past year and the nursery has chosen a much healthier approach for the little ones to grow healthier and with good eating habits. Overall I highly recommend Once Upon a time and all the lovely staff that works there.
