My daughter has been attending Dicky Birds since July 2022, and our experience with the nursery has been outstanding. The staff are warm, caring, and highly engaged, and the range of activities they provide is incredible. My daughter adores the team and often talks about them at home. My wife and I are constantly impressed by how much the children get to experience and learn. The graduation ceremony for school leavers was beautifully organised and truly memorable – a real testament to the care and thought the nursery puts into everything they do. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dicky Birds to anyone looking for a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment for their children.

I have always felt that my child is safe, well-looked after, encouraged to be brave and try new things (PE at South Park Gardens is one of her favourite activities), and taught to care for her classmates, nature, and animals (the petting zoo and farm animals brought in for the summer party were a nice touch!). We know the staff members by name, and they genuinely care for the children they look after. They are highly engaged and know personal details about each of the children, allowing them to build a strong rapport. My child has been at Dicky Birds Queen’s Road since July 2022 when she started in Ducklings, and just this past week was given a cap and gown to wear for her graduation ceremony. DB knows how to make children and parents feel special - it's a wonderful community that we have been so blessed to be a part of these past three years.

Dicky Birds has been the perfect setting for our boy who has been there since 10 months old. We had hunted around local options but were immediately struck by how engaged the staff and babies were. Monica in the ducklings team, alongside Sadia and Elena, have been outstanding and made our boy feel loved and taken care of from the start. He has thrived and enjoyed everything from the food to the play, and is always trying to entice us to stay and play when we come to pick him up. Thank you to the entire team!

Terrible. Unprofessional and lack of empathy for the staff and children. All this company care about is money. The children are forced into crowded rooms, pushed up to new rooms to make more space for more children and the staff look overworked, stressed and at breaking point. If I need to find someone to speak to there never is anyone, it’s really gone downhill in this place!

Confused Culture ★☆☆☆☆
If you are a person of colour and your children are non white do not go to this nursery . The ignorance the staff have towards other cultures and on top of that the reluctance to take action when a POC child is faced with racism they don’t do anything . Favouritism amongst the staff and kids is very evident too. At the time when I reported a racial incident the headteacher responds with “ I’ve adopted black kids so I do know how it feels” I’ll leave that there for you to understand I worked there and it breaks my heart that this happened.

From working in the area, I've seen the staff take out some kids and they look like they love it. Staff seem pleasant.
