   We found this centre through another parent’s recommendation to prepare our daughter for the grammar school entry exam. The manager was very knowledgeable, clearly explained how the programme works, and introduced us to her tutor. The approach is very student-led, and our daughter responded to it extremely well. There are regular progress meetings, and we quickly noticed a clear link between consistent practice and improved results in mock exams. Our daughter was very determined and completed about 99% of the programme, which put her in a strong position for the actual exam. Thanks to her hard work, support from her tutor, and regular practice at home, she successfully secured a well-deserved place at a top grammar school. We only tried their 11+ programme, but it worked brilliantly for us. The staff are friendly, adaptable, and professional. Sessions were never overcrowded, and we really appreciated having the same tutor throughout for consistency. Overall, we’re very pleased we signed up and would definitely recommend this centre to anyone looking for extra support for their child—the programme truly works!

   We are extremely pleased with the ongoing service we’ve received from all the staff at Explore Learning Willesden. The tutoring support for our daughter’s 11+ preparation has been excellent, and it’s clear she is progressing ahead of her age group thanks to the skills and knowledge she’s gaining — often before it’s even covered at school. A special mention goes to Victor, who is an outstanding teacher. He consistently provides valuable feedback after every session and always takes the time to answer any questions thoroughly and clearly. Thank you very much, Victor! We live in the West Hampstead area and specifically choose to come to the Willesden branch, despite there being a centre closer to us in Hampstead — which we believe speaks volumes about the quality of teaching and care at Willesden. We would wholeheartedly recommend Explore Learning, and in particular the Willesden centre, to any parent considering extra academic support for their child.

   Good for an afterschool club but if you're considering exam prep and need help (like we did for the 11+), do seek alternatives that can provide differentiated support and save your money.

   All staff members are caring and patient. One of my daughters was a little shy and reluctant but thanks to the wondefull staff like Caitlin she loves coming in and isn't afraid to ask for help.
