Great nursery. The staff a very friendly and approachable. They always seem to put their best foot forward for the kids and do lots of activities, events and games for them. There is a nice sense of community in this nursery and great communication from the reception team too. My son came over from a very different nursery and we are so pleased that he is very happy here.

It's not a terrible nursery, but if you can find a different one, it's probably best staff are fairly friendly But there's not enough stuff

I had higer expectations, tbh. My son went to this nursery for 4 months, twice per week, 2 years old. The staff is always working under pressure. I don't feel they are happy. It's very difficult to get straight responses about details of the activities they do (daily ones or extra). I was very excited to have my son in here as the facilities and the farm animals look very promising, but my overall experience was disappointing. Furthernore, they have this old fashion way to report at the end of the day completing a paper sheet. There is also an app but in 4 months, I had 2 updates of my son. The staff is very kind and professional, but they are really overwhelmed. We are all aware of the difficulties in the childcare sector, but I have other 2 nurseries to compare with. The difficulties here are the lack of capacity to cope with the teaching and learning expectation that we parents might have when we are paying hundreds of pounds each month. My son is bilingual. Not much teaching awareness/ skills to bilingual children, specially at this age, as they need a more personal teaching approach.

Do not waste your time with this nursery. Extremely disappointed with the Leah manager of this nursery. Back in October I asked for an application for my son with founded hours and I was given one, they told me that I could simply bring the application with all the documents and start in January. After 3 months and with the application given I was told that my son will start on January. As single mum I was counting with this help, waited to January and I wasn’t called at all, after several calls (most of them I was asked to call later, or they were to busy to talk to me) I was told that my son wasn’t accepted as they are not taking founded hours even that they have an advertisement that they take founded hours. The reason given it’s because the government takes to long to paid them. Not only wasted my time, I have also lost the opportunity to look for other nurseries. I feel sad and excluded by this nursery and the treatment they has gave me. Also feel upset that they falsely advertised that they take founded hours.

I have my 1 year old son attending Cherubins Day nursery in Ladywell. I was looking for a good nursery for him in Ladywell area. This is a perfect one. They do a lot of activities, my son has developed new skills such as eating with spoon, drinking from a cup, playing with other children and many more. Nursery is located in a quiet and green area with a nice size garden. Staff are friendly, engaging, nice to children. Nappy is always changed, my son is very happy when I pick him up. I highly recommend this nursery!

At very short notice our nursery closed to keyworkers due to the covid19 pandemic- we moved our 3yo and 1yo to Cherubins in Ladywell temporarily. I cannot speak highly enough of this nursery and the team. Shermin and her team are approachable, caring, kind and compassionate. They warmly welcomed my children and helped them to settle in very quickly, putting them at ease in what has been an unsettling time for everyone. Communication at the end of the day was both thorough and relevant. If we lived a little closer we would stay with them in a heartbeat, only moving back to previous nursery as much closer now they are reopening. We will miss Cherubins.
