   The authors of this book keep getting better, Kids time 2 play really takes you on a journey to discover the wide range of careers that young people can choose as they grow older. This book is ideal for curious children who are learning about the jobs in their community because of its colourful pictures along with straightforward language. It is ideal for igniting young minds and motivating them to follow their dreams as they grow older. My year 3 class absolutely loved this book and it’s activities. It was amazing to see how this book sparked conversations about what skills they need for their future careers. I will definitely be waiting to see what the authors come up with next because so far both books have been wonderful. Well done!!

   A truly perfect book for developing children’s life skills, helping them to understand personal values, along with respecting and incorporating the perspectives of others in everyday life. Not only is the book fun and entertaining the authors have captured perfectly the essence of positivity, inclusiveness and acceptance providing the platform for children to develop those powerful theme during their life course. As a social worker I use this book when completing direct work with children especially those that have low self-esteem. The responses from the children have been wholly positive, it has allowed them to become more curious and envision themselves as the main character and challenge their responses and actions. The worksheets provided in the book have been an added and welcomed addition, further demonstrating the focus on engagement to encourage learning in children. I am looking forward to more series in the book!

   Very good book! I bought it for a gift to my young nephew whose 2. I am also a mum of an older teenager and know this book would have been very helpful for him during his early years. My thinking was that as my nephew starts to read and develop at nursery and primary school he will regard the book as fun, identify with characters and refer back to the book for important life skill messages and reinforce positive behaviour/attributes such as being helpful, kind, critical thinking and taking responsibility for his actions. Great illustrations of children and words. The worksheets will be useful in the future to cement learning and explore thought process that can be used as prose for discussion.
