   I'm not sure how this place got such great reviews. The flat gets very warm in summer, and the only cooling provided is a fan that has the exact same speed even if you turn it to the max. The host, Tony, is very very rude. He asked me for a £20 pet surcharge after I've checked out, which he said I have to go back to the flat to pay in cash. I felt pressured to do so since he has my luggage in storage. I replied he didn't mention a pet surcharge at booking time, his response was because I never mentioned I'm bringing a dog - I checked my booking records, I did mention it in the special requests section. Despite that, I agreed to pay since my dog ate something bad during a hike and got sick and had an accident on the floor and the cleaner was very kind and friendly about it. Then Tony proceeded to ask me for an additional £30 for the accident, even though I've already cleaned the mess up and even messaged them proactively to apologise for it. Nevertheless, I paid the additional £30 because the cleaner was very kind and I really didn't want a pleasant weekend trip ruined, but Tony continued to send me threatening messages even after I've paid exactly what he's asked for. He claims the flat is not rentable for a day due to my dog's smell and so I need to compensate him for that day's rent, but in an earlier message, he already said there's no other booking after me so the flat was going to be empty anyway. How did I cause him to lose a day's rent???? A very pathetic, verbally abusive, and extortive host.

   Great apartment for a very good and honest price! Super comfortable, spacious and clean. The location is the best. Middle of the center so you do not need a car. Great outdoors as well on just a few minutes walk. We will come back!

   Very misleading and deceptive pricing, expect to pay their "standard" cleaning cost on check out which is not included in the cost during booking. Staff were unhelpful when we questioned this surprise cost. The apartment was fine, however the shower flooded bathroom very quickly as there was no screen/curtain. Location was decent but highly recommend other side of the bridge (closer to station/centre).

   Great location and bathroom but as for the rest disappointing. The entrance hall and stairs are straight out of the TV series rising damp,with faded decor and cooking smells on the first night frying onions and cabbage came up from the room below, the heating system is controlled by the owners and you have to call and ask for it to be put on.whole conversion cheaply done ,with mould and cracks in evidence.not cheap avoid

   This was a great place to stay. Highly recommend it. Can be a bit hard to find, small sign down a sidestreet, but easy enough with the map. Easy walking distance of downtown Bath. Good local restraunts nearby. Beat if all: vey acommodating and flexible owner. We had some plane delays getting in, owner worked with us to rearrange booking (twice!). Definetly our first choice next trip.

   Great location and lovely little apartment which is within walking distance of everything. Only downside was that the heating kept resetting to 27 degrees! Definitely on the warm side!
