   BS2 lofts has a very active management company with directors living in flats in the building. Continual improvements are being made to keep it secure and maintained. New electronic front door locks, reflective privacy film, CCTV, new lift and improvements to bike store security. A hard line has been taken on noise and Airbnb's have been banned in the building with a zero tolerance noise policy. We successfully introduced quiet time a no smoking policy. The building goes quiet between 11pm and 8am. It’s now enjoyed by a mix of tenants from mature student young professionals and families with children enjoying the space, surrounding park land easy access to the. City centre, local attractions and of course- the views .

   We rented in this building for just over a year. It's a lively neighbourhood in the summer months with people cooking outside and celebrating time with friends and family which was always really nice to see. I saw that there was a mention of a lot of noise in previous reviews; when my tenancy started there were a few Air BnB's making noise but once we contacted the management company this was dealt with promptly and didn't happen again. For the rest of my time there, any noise that I did hear was what you'd expect if you're living above and below people. Bike shed did get broken into but again, the management company sorted this quickly with new locks and it didn't happen again. I had lovely neighbours and everyone in the block was a part of a Whatsapp group which gave the place a lovely community feel. The flats are big and bright and have a lot of character which I really liked in comparison to other places in Bristol. The location is absolutely brilliant with some great bakeries 2 minutes away, Cabot Circus on your doorstep and easy access to other areas like Montpellier, Cotham, Redland, Clifton, the harbour and the Bristol to Bath cycle path. St Pauls is a diverse neighbourhood with a great buzz about it; people are friendly and there's some beautiful green spaces close by too. I'd definitely live here again, sad to have left.

   Experience of living here: Constant package theft. Bike shed gets broken into now and again. Elevator broken half the time. Constant work happening in the apartments as people move out / get evicted which makes for loud drilling noises all day during a work day with no warning, so don't think too much about working from home. Half the building is airbnbs that party during the week and the walls are really thin so during the summer it can be difficult to get sufficient sleep if you live in any of the even numbered apartments below 10. Drafty -> Impossibly expensive to have any heating on due to the improperly sealed walls and single pane glass windows. That said the kitchens are nice and theres lots of natural light to soothe you in the morning as you wake up sleep deprived from last nights AirBNB rager and the I heard drill musics the thing now so maybe I should get used to the construction. Apartment 1 seems to be rented out to film crews now and again which can be interesting. Nearest bus stop is stokes/cabot.

   Thinnest walls in existence (you'll get very intimate with your neighbours) and if there was any more cold air draft through the gaps in the floor and the single pane warehouse windows you could turn the place into a megasize air-hockey arena. At least I can park ok.
