I've found world of Children absolutely wonderful. My daughter loves going and is well cared for by Sara, Danielle and Sue. It does take kids and babies a bit of time to get used of. Very interactive sessions with painting, playing and stories. Highly recommended.
I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but I was sorely mistaken. My daughter visited from York with my grandchildren, and I hoped they would enjoy it as much as my younger son did years ago. We left the children for just one hour. Despite my repeated requests that the staff call me immediately if the children became upset, they failed to do so. When we returned, we found both grandchildren strapped into their double buggy, completely alone, with no carers around them and hardly any other children present. The place was almost empty. When we questioned the staff, they claimed both children had been upset 20 minutes earlier, and they decided to seat them down so they were "comfortable." This was an utter disbelief. My daughter was left feeling upset and guilty, wondering exactly how long they had been abandoned in the buggy.
The creche is a useful place to drop the kids off for a couple of hours when you have things to do. The service and care are fine (I can only assume) as my kids come out unharmed and don’t mind going back. However, the older lady that appears to manage the place is rather school teacher like and quite rude - I can only describe her as being extremely patronising but also appears to be unable to listen to basic questions but then answers them like a condescending school teacher speaking to insolent 10 year olds. If you ever experience this place, you will know what I mean. Would rather not return to this place but needs must as they say.
World of Children at Kingston Bentalls Centre are Excellent! Our child loves it there! Sue and the whole Team do a Wonderful job taking care of them and they always come out with some art work they have done. I can't recommend this creche too highly. Thanks a Million for all the hard work - it is Very Much Appreciated!
My little boy loves playing here with all the cars, play dough, home corner there is so much for him to do. It’s a little hidden gem and never has too many kids in there, which is important to me. Its also very clean, the only play place I trusted and still trust just after covid with my young baby to go to, he never gets sick after going, unlike other play places. The staff, Nena and her mum look after my little boy as if he were their own, and it was the first place I left him without me, so I could just sit and have a coffee on my own and have a rest (nervous first time mum with no family help). Thank you for giving me some time back and also good company when we get to do stay and play during the week. I am so very grateful for your care and company, Ana and B.
I am recommended this place by a friend who’s child also went here.(Her son is 17 now)and so happy she did. It’s been 2 weeks and my 3 year old already settled in . The staff are very friendly, professional and approachable . The place itself is always nice and clean and it’s location comes really handy. They have variety of toys and an adult lead - activities They provide lots of opportunities for children to learn and explore through the games. They all doing great . Highly satisfied and recommended Thank you to them all.
Sue and her team do an excellent job of looking after the children left in their care. They have such a good selection of toys and things to do. It’s great to be able to leave children with people who engage with the children, do crafts and play together rather than just leaving the children to their own devices.
