   I have just had the pleasure of visiting The Hawthorns retirement village in Clevedon, and I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with this exceptional community. The facilities at The Hawthorns are top-notch, offering everything residents need to enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling lifestyle. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the common areas are both elegant and inviting. Whether it's the cosy lounges, the well-equipped fitness centre, or the delightful dining areas, every space is designed with the residents' comfort and enjoyment in mind. What truly sets The Hawthorns apart, however, is the incredible sense of community. During my visit, I had the chance to meet many of the residents, and it was clear that they genuinely love living here. There’s a vibrant social calendar filled with activities and events that cater to all interests, fostering strong bonds and lasting friendships among the residents. I was also deeply impressed by the dedicated and compassionate staff, particularly Aggie, who showed me around. They go above and beyond to ensure that every resident feels valued and cared for, addressing their needs with professionalism and a personal touch. It’s evident that the team at The Hawthorns is committed to providing a high quality of life for everyone who calls this place home. The Hawthorns in Clevedon is truly a gem, offering a perfect blend of luxury, care, and community. If you’re considering a retirement village that truly feels like home, I wholeheartedly recommend The Hawthorns.

   My parents moved to The Hawthorns Clevedon 8 months ago and we are all so pleased they did. It is a delightful place for them to make their home in the latter years of retirement. The meals are always excellent quality and the service in the restaurant and throughout is outstanding. There is a really warm and friendly atmosphere, which I believe is due to the lovely team of dedicated staff. Everything at The Hawthorns is run in a calm, efficient and friendly way. It is such a blessing for Mum and Dad to be free of the responsibilities that normally go with running your own home: meal preparation, including the weekly shop, washing up, cleaning, gardening, keeping on top of the bills, they only have the inclusive monthly rent bill and a few others like the TV licence to sort out. They now have the time and energy to do the things they really want to do - going out for a stroll along the seafront or around the grounds is a favourite. And there are plenty of weekly activities to join in to keep them both mentally and physically active, as well as enjoying a nice cuppa socially with other residents in the cafe. It's always a pleasure to visit my parents at The Hawthorns and to see how much they are enjoying their stunning new home by the sea.

   I was looking for somewhere for my mother to stay and I contacted The Hawthorns. We were shown round and given lunch by Aggie, who was very polite and helpful. My mother and I were really impressed with her approach and with the wonderful facilities offered at The Hawthorns. Aggie went out of her way to accommodate our needs and arrange an apartment for my mum. Mum immediately felt at home and was made to feel really welcome by all the staff. Lucy and Sam on reception were very friendly and helpful, dealing with initial settling-in questions, and Aggie - despite obviously being very busy - was always courteous and helpful in responding to my questions. She checked in on my mum to see how she was settling in and obviously cares deeply about the comfort and wellbeing of the residents. I spoke with other residents who all said how much they enjoyed living at The Hawthorns. They explained how safe they felt, how friendly the staff were and how much they enjoyed the wonderful meals. My mum seems to have taken on a whole new lease of life. She has made new friends and acquaintances and says she is very happy and much more active than before she came to The Hawthorns. The location on the seafront is marvellous and the grounds very well cared for. I cannot recommend this place highly enough for a happy and comfortable retirement.

   My Mum has been at the Hawthorns for a year now and it has been fantastic, such a great location right by the sea. All the staff are amazing, working very hard whilst always being friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. My Mum finds it very reassuring to always have someone on hand for either a question or just a chat. The Hawthorns is very well managed, from cleaning, maintenance and communication to trips and events. It feels efficient yet homely and there is always a buzz around the coffee hub as residents gather for a chat. I now have peace of mind that my Mum lives somewhere where she can still be independent yet has help around if she needs it. Thanks to everyone at the Hawthorns, you do a brilliant job.

   I've visited this wonderful place to sing for the residents. The event was rganised by the Activities Team. The evening was a success and they certainly did a great job, and looked after me impeccably. I've noticed the staff is caring and attentive, and the residents happy and feeling at home. Hope to be back!

   Living at the Hawthorns is a big life change for anyone, but boy is it a good one. Since I moved to the Hawthorns I am rarely seen without a smile. There are so many different activities and opportunities, with things to suit everyone. For me I love the art class and exercise classes, and there is so much more too! Trips to see some of the amazing sites in our area and entertainment in the Hawthorns itself. Being one of the youngest here, at first made me feel I wouldn’t fit in, but soon enough I saw that, love and acceptance here is for all ages, and I am very happy and content. I am able to support those around which gives me a real purpose again in my life, and they support me with a feeling that I belong. I love the staff, who have become family, nothing is too much for them. I’m at the Hawthorns to stay. Nancy Jones

   I recently visited The Hawthorns on business and had cause to meet with numerous residents and staff, I couldn’t get over how attentive, kind and thoughtful the staff were towards the residents and how happy the residents were. I have to say the atmosphere reminded me of a five star hotel only more relaxed and friendly!

   We've been so pleased with the way Mum has settled into The Hawthorns Clevedon. She is always talking about how wonderful all the staff are. And it seems that they have such a range of activities and events. It can't be easy dealing with some quite strong-minded individuals living close together, but it seems they have managed to create quite a lovely community. Thank you!

   Set in a fabulous location, The Hawthorns is luxury retirement living. The staff are fantastic and they have an active program of days out, on-site entertainment and Restaurant theme nights. I have a number of clients who are residents, and they have all told me what a wonderful place it is.

   My Wife and I we moved to The Hawthorns Clevedon Retirement Community in August last year. We absolutely love every day of our Happy retirement here. We have made many lovely friends, we enjoy the beautiful location and our specious apartment with the private patio. We do enjoy all the activities, trips and outings! Good food! Staff here at the Hawthorns is very helpful and friendly too.
