   From the very first visit, I had that wonderful feeling that Sofia’s setting was the right place for my son. Sofia’s home is a caring, fun, and stimulating environment, full of adventures and learning. The activities Sofia does with the children are fantastic — trips out, learning how to care for each other, playing and exploring, arts and crafts, and helping Josiah get ready to start school in September. The list is endless! As Josiah has grown, I’ve seen how the activities have changed and developed, especially during the time when the younger children nap. These activities clearly help prepare the older ones for the next chapter of school life. Josiah has certainly been well prepared for school by Sofia — from being able to put on his shoes and coat and zip them up, to holding a pencil correctly and using scissors — all while still having plenty of time to play and have fun. Personally, I feel that being in a childminder’s setting, where Josiah has been able to grow and interact with both older and younger children over the past four years, has been invaluable. There has been so much peer learning — caring for younger friends and learning from older ones — something you don’t always get in a nursery setting where children are often separated by age. Sofia, this is a heartfelt thank you — from the anxious, nervous mum on day one to the now very proud mum of a confident, caring boy who is loving school. P.S. Josiah misses you lots! ❤️

   Sofia took care of our son for over 2 years before he started school. He loved going there everyday day and Sofia was instrumental in preparing him for school. She taught him how to read and helped him learn to count, learn his colours and shapes, so he was well prepared for when he started school. She did a wide variety of activities every day and worked so hard to ensure the children had fun whilst also learning. Sofia's communication was fantastic on a daily basis, always keeping us up to date on the day. Her setting is very homely and well equipped, and she prepared healthy fresh food. My son was very sad to leave and we have very fond memories. It means so much to have such a lovely trust worthy child minder that your child happily goes to everyday. We couldn't have asked for anymore. Thank you Sofia

   Sofia is looking after my daughter Julia for over a year now. Julia always has fabulous time at Sofia's with play and learning activities. She always happily talking about what they were doing all day! I'm really pleased with Sofia care and glad that I found her!!!

   We sent our daughter to Sofia's childminding from the age of 6 months. Unfortunately, we had to change day care as we moved house a month ago when my daughter became 36 months. Sofia provided our daughter with a very safe and very enriching environment. Sofia takes kids out for an adventure every morning and she plans very exciting, interesting and calculated learning session each afternoon, while keeping a theme throughout the week. We were so impressed with the variety of the activities she planned for kids. Additionally, Sofia plans many excursions, from museums to seaside trips. The meals that she provides ensure a good healthy and variable diet (roast lamb, seafood paella, squash risotto, to name a few). Sofia provides detailed daily reports and photos at he en of each day which we enjoyed a lot. We are very sad that our daughter is not able to continue her journey with Sofia but we are still in touch as Sofia is and has been like a family to our daughter. We are very grateful and can't recommend her enough.

   We were so lucky to find Sofia to look after our son; who started just before his 1st birthday. Sofia was kind, reliable and warm in all aspects of her care. Not only was Sofia's provision a home from home, Sofia's provision is outstanding, the children go out everyday and the planned provision is so well thought out and personalised to each child. We honestly couldn't recommend Sofia enough- she is simply wonderful. Thank you so much Sofia.

   Sofia has looked after our daughter 5 days a week for over 2 years and we have been very happy with all aspects of her care. Sofia is always happy, calm and very patient. She has helped our daughter develop through various sensory, arts, crafts and seasonal activities. We love the mix of activities and days out that Sofia arranges for the children eg the farm, museums, zoo, parks etc but with the care of a home setting. They do something everyday and our daughter always comes home with plenty to say! The children do singing, dancing, yoga, reading, nursery rhymes and one-on-one learning; our daughters vocab, counting has come on so well. Nutrition wise, very importantly, the variation, quantity and quality is perfect. Without doubt the best start to your child’s early years life you could wish for.
