   I visited Alperton family wellbeing centre Library this evening with my child for the Summer Fun Festival, but unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. When I asked a staff member about joining the event, she told me that I first needed to borrow books and take a receipt before we could participate. We followed her instructions, but when we joined the activity area, the queue was very disorganised. Children were standing wherever they wanted, and some parents placed their children at the front of the line while others had to wait much longer. My child recently had surgery, so I wanted to give her a bit of joy and fun. Sadly, she had to stand in line for almost an hour, and by the time it was her turn, she couldn’t get the face paint she wanted. Because of this long wait, she also missed out on other activities at the event.

   Friendly staff a little tricky to find on maps, entrance next to Alperton High school, a separate gated area.

   I have just brought my child to this location and the places was difficult to find. No parking at all, you will have to park on the main road £2 for an hour. You cannot take your buggy inside the centre so you will have to disturb your baby/child.
