Hung an exhibition for a friend in this really unique venue. Beautifully restored spaces throughout with amazing vaulted ceilings. Fantastic staff, who couldn't have been more helpful. I'll certainly be returning to one of their many events in the very near future.

This building is very versatile having several rooms which will be suitable for numerous types of functions. There is a large bar area which serves light snacks as well as drinks. The attractive outdoor area has tables and chairs under umbrellas which would make a nice place to sit outside. I would recommend this venue highly.

Attended private view here of local artist Eric Gabb and his daughter Alex. Fabulous paintings, & nice small space for displaying art work. Very friendly & attentive bar staff - tables & chairs were a bit close to the walls for easy viewing but overall a lovely venue. Eric and Alex's exhibition runs af Burdall's Yard until 12th May and is well worth a visit.

What a little gem of a venue. Great space, lovely staff and beautifully clean loos! Artwork on display is for sale too. Only thing against it is that there's no parking, there's spaces to be found nearby though if it's evening event, but would be difficult if daytime event.

Burdalls yard was lovley. Staff were really nice . My husband and I went to see Baths ultimate rock covers band . Omg . the sound quality was the worst I have ever experienced. We had to leave it was that bad . Even when lead singer spoke in microphone you could not hear . They must have realised. The band were ok nothing amazing but this made everything 10 x worse . Why you would perform knowing sound quality was so bad and would hurt peoples ears is a mystery to me

On Jazz-jam night (first Thursday of the month) a really nice intimate club atmosphere is developing. It's still a work in progress. The Liverpool 'Cavern' illusion is created by the strange architectural design of a stone tunnel with a stage at one end. Centrally placed in Bath City with bicycle parking in a closed courtyard.

This place smelled really bad when we were there unfortunately. There was a recycling bin (which is great) but it had flies buzzing round it and it smelled grim. Considering the space is used by students it would be great if something more creative could be done with the space. They don't accept card.

I love seeing professional Jazz ensembles playing at Burdall's, as well as BSU organised events. A balanced professional sound of top performances in an intimate venue. Also do Drama, Poetry and short Plays, if that interests you.
