   It happened on a Monday in March 2018. The temperature on that day was zero or below. I hadn't been to the Kier Hardy children centre for a few months because I felt they were critical towards people's parenting styles, which I never seen in other children centres. That day, I bumped into a mum friend and her baby. They were on the way to Kier Hardy children centre so I went with her. After the baby play session finished, I sat on the nursing chair feeding my baby. There was a member of staff said 'Look, she doesn't look comfortable. She doesn't enjoy it. She's not hungry. She's distracted. You feed her only if she cry for it.' I said 'It's a long walk to home. 30/40 minutes walk. I am worried she will be hungry and cry on the way back.' she then said 'OK. You can go there to feed her.' She pointed at a mat or a chair at the other end of the room. I didn't pay attention. I felt she wasn't very friendly so I thought to myself 'Maybe she's right. My baby isn't very hungry otherwise she would not turn her head while drinking milk.' So I said goodbye and left. 2 minutes after I left, my baby started to cry and I knew she's hungry. I started to run. But she was trying to jump out from the pram and her voice became more and more desperate. I made an irrational decision - I knocked on someone's door. I asked if I could feed my baby in their hall way. Luckily the first door I knocked on was a nice old couple. She allowed me in and gave me a chair to sit on. The rest experience was nice and warm. I felt so grateful that she opened the door for me. I was so cold and hopeless at a point. It was only my personal experience. I am sure some mums think Kier Hardy is great. I have no idea what I had done to make that staff wanted me to move out from the nursing chair. I was the last one so maybe she wanted to finish on time.
