Great experience to cuddle alpaca and lama. I please book well in advance. 2 hours but time flies so fast.

Excellent visit to the alpacas. Lots of information about their origins and current lives. There were several babies (crias) just a few weeks old. We each had a chance to lead one of the adult alpacas round the field. The farm also has samples of alpaca and lama fur and several items for sale such as ornaments made of alpaca fur and socks. Well worth a visit!
We did the gold experience and learnt so much about the history of the alpacas and why they are so special. We got to feed them and stroke them as well as having a small wander with them where we got to take some selfies to end the day. Beautiful place and our guide was wonderful.
My wife and I love alpacas. We have visited them in several farms around the country. It was therefore really pleasing to get a visit to Cadbury Alpacas in Twickenham near Clevedon as a Christmas present. We waited until the warm weather and duly booked the visit in June 2025. It turned out to be the hottest day of the year! Despite that we enjoyed a lovely visit during which we learnt so much about the loveable creatures. Additionally we got up and personal giving them a hose down and feeding them some carrot treats we had brought. We decided, both from the alpacas view and ours, that we wouldn't go walking in the 30 degrees plus. We will return for that one day! This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience with the alpacas - and we mustn't forget Loki the llama! Interesting pre tour chat in the bamboo gazebo, and a chance to buy some lovely gifts from an extensive range afterwards. A lovely location, and alpacas never fail to bring down a curtain of peace.
