It’s definitely one off my favourite place to visit! I’ve been coming here for years! The food is always fresh and the most important thing is the people how they treat you and how special and nice they are. I always order my catering from them it’s great value thx guys for everything
This café has a great vibe and serves really good food — everything is fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented. But what really makes it stand out is their shisha. It’s smooth, perfectly packed, and they offer a great variety of flavors. The staff takes good care of the setup, making sure it stays just right the whole time. It’s the perfect spot to relax, eat well, and enjoy a good smoke with friends.
Delicious lunch. Food was fresh. Chicken shawarma, tabouli with pomegranate was a perfect combination. Portions are large - great for sharing or left overs! Food was very good — I had the shawarma, and it felt like homemade food, not typical restaurant style. The dish itself was unique compared to other places. Service was very pleasant too — they remembered my order and even took the time to chat. Really nice experience overall.
Elias the owner has been a friend of mine since I first came to the Deli 4 years ago. Not only the best food in West Hampstead, but the best atmosphere, service and conversation you could ask for. They truly encompass the “village spirit” of West Hampstead and the kindness of a good friend.
I've lived in West Hampstead for over a year now and this is definitely my favorite restaurant in the area. The service is excellent and they are all very kind people. I especially love the veggie mixed mezze. I order it almost every time and its always delicious. Once I tried the best lentil soup I have ever had here. Don't forget to try their homemade desserts, they are out of this world. A big thanks to everyone that works here for creating such a friendly atmosphere!
Worked opposite David’s for 10 months - had lunch there at least twice a week. The food is beautifully homemade, I particularly loved the Falafel and Halloumi wraps. The baklava is unreal and to top it off, all of the staff are just delightful. Very sad to not be a West Hampstead resident anymore and will miss this spot dearly! Thanks for everything guys x
Just had the perfect breakfast. I’ve been lucky enough to have this place as one of my locals and the brothers that run the deli are a delight to be around. There is a great community vibe here so feels really nice to visit and chat away if I want to. The owners are very happy to do anything for you that might not be on the menu so just ask. Here I ordered scrambled egg, grilled halloumi and avocado with a carrot and ginger juice. All cooked to perfection and so very tasty. But aside from this they have fresh home cooked dishes everyday made with love and on site. Delicious lasagna, moussaka, some Middle Eastern dishes, the best falafel wrap you will land on for miles, sometimes roast marinated chicken, or other meat dishes, lots of salads , just so many dishes I can’t list them all. But if you are not hungry just come for a fresh mint tea or fresh juice and watch the people go by. Oh and our dog is welcome which is great. I highly recommend a visit.
Great food and great atmosphere at this family owned deli. I have been coming for many months now. Fantastic mix of traditional and modern food and drink, shisha, and there are daily specials (such as the picture below - lamb stuffed aubergine). But the real reason to come here is how friendly the staff are. They are the best people. A+++
Ordered the grilled chicken salad and the english breakfast, then went in person the next day and got the salad again. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but that salad is absolutely lovely, I'll be getting this over and over for sure. One major gripe is half of the outdoor seating is for smokers and so as is inevitable, as soon as someone starts smoking you can smell it no matter where you're sat. Pretty big turn-off for me, maybe inside seating suffers from this issue less. Either way, there just should not be smoking seating right by non smoking in 2022.
