Terrific afternoon tour led by a funny, articulate, well traveled guide, Maren. Seven stops at less touristy spots where the proprietors take pride in what they make. Fun chats with the owners. Empanadas, matcha, cheeses, gelato, bakery, teas, etc. Delicious tastes with a healthy dose of local history and culture. Also, super helpful restaurant recommendations for the rest of our trip!

I had the amazing pleasure of going on the Savouring Bath Private tour with Mike as part of my cousins hen do. This was one of my favourite activities we did over that weekend. I am quite the foodie and I love to walk and see different cities and this was certainly a tour that did not disappoint! Right off the bat you could tell Mike was very passionate about Bath and showing people the delights it had to offer. His knowledge of the history of Bath was apparent in all of the local businesses we got to visit and you could tell he had personal friendships with each of the business owners. We asked him quite a few random questions throughout the tour and he answered each one with a smile and his face just lit up when we asked him questions about cheese! My favourite stop was the Bertinet Bakery where we got to share the most amazing cheese and ham filled Croissant but the scotch eggs from Guildhall Deli were also to die for! Mike took us outside the Roman Baths and talked a bit about their history but he did mention when he does his tours he kind of adapts them to suit the needs of the audience, we were really into learning about Bath's history so he explained how it became a City of Culture and what it does to honour that and keep its culture preserved. We went to 8 stops on our tour and got the LARGEST of goodie bags to take back with us! The money you spend on this pretty much all goes on those goodie bags I am sure you got so much to take back with you! If you are ever visiting bath definitely book a food tour with Savouring Bath its the best way to get to experience the city and the local businesses that are there! Thanks Mike for a wonderful experience!

We had the very best time last week at our gin tasting - it was fun and informative with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. It was the best start to a special evening out. Thank you!

The absolute BEST way to see Bath. Having visited Bath before I wanted to do something a bit different and didn’t even consider it would be the kind of place suited to a food tour but I was so wrong. We did the Food Heroes tour and it was the perfect blend between food, history and sightseeing. We probably would have walked past every single one of the places we visited without being guided there but ended up going back to 3 of them and buying more things! It completely opened my eyes to the food culture in Bath and would recommend a Savouring Bath tour to anyone visiting.

We spent last Saturday afternoon with Ed, going to 8 different but equally tasty eateries ranging from fudge to cheese, goulash to turkish coffee, around Bath centre. This finished at Le Vignoble where we joined our other group for wine and charcuterie in a lovely private area. I couldn't recommend Ed and Mike enough; well-organised, knowledgeable not only about food, but the city, too, and - crucially - very fun and friendly! A great way to get to know the city and its culinary highlights. Hope to see you again.

Whilst visiting Bath on our honeymoon Savouring Bath Guilty Pleasures Tour was a great introduction to the hidden treasures of the food and drink scene, most of which we never would have discovered without them. Tour guides Mike and Ed were great hosts, very knowledgeable, friendly with with all the businesses and answered all our questions however off topic they were. We loved all the locations and business’s we visited. Upgrading to the celebration package was well worth it too.

Mike was simply wonderful! We took part in a bespoke food tour for a friend's hen do and everyone agreed it was the highlight of the weekend. If you are a foodie I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the tour; Mike was so knowledgeable and fun. He clearly has a huge passion for what he does and I was amazed at his breadth of knowledge - not just into the history of the food and town but the back story of each and every independent business he works with across Bath. The food was also all delicious, it was a perfect amount of small bites spread across a few hours.
