11 August 2025, A4 air decker, arriving 3:40 am at bristol airport. The driver was very professional and his driving was excellent. Outstanding service.
Air Decker didn't turned up at all so had to book an Uber to avoid missing my plane! Ridiculous. I know it is busy traffic on the weekends in Bath but that does not explain a 40 min+ delay on the 2pm service. My advice if you are trying to have a stress-free journey to the airport is to look elsewhere! Use X39 and then A1 from Bristol Temple Meads or Train to Bristol Temple Meads and then A1. Much easier and as a bonus, actually turns up!
The A4 from Hengrove Leisure Park to Bristol Airport is £13 (one way ticket), same price as an Uber, for a 6-mile ride. Far from worth it, especially due to the low frequency of the buses.
We had a the opportunity to travel on your hop-on hop-off bus 4 times last week in Cardiff. We were lucky enough to have Darryl (spelling?) as our driver on all 4 trips. We wanted you to know he was awesome. He was friendly, courteous, informative and freely offered a number of suggestions (all good) of sites we should visit including how to get there. We visited each of his recommendations. He's a great person to have on your team. The trip on your bus was well worth the money especially since you can use your ticket the next day as well.
I would give 6 star if permitted... Went with my two children who are special needs. The driver was very kind to give us a discount and when asked about a certain stop to hop out. Driver actually came top deck and informed my family, this is your stop!! I have been to many bus tours but 1st time ever for experienced such wonderful service, ethic-at. GREAT SERVICE SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!!
The buses leave very frequently so there isn't a crowd of people wanting to take the seats up top. There are discounts for students and senior citizens which was very good for me and my parents. The tickets are reasonably priced, particularly as are valid on the city area tour and Skyline route. I enjoyed the Skyline route better because wasn't dense with tourists and lets you appreciate the scenery which, in my opinion, is more beautiful than the historical monuments that most tourists seem to be more interested in. There was quite a jolly tour guide on the Skyline route and the city route bus had recorded narrations in different languages. It made the experience more informative and memorable.
