I was given a Bristol Balloon Fiesta flight for my birthday from my hubby. The whole process was simple to book. The Bailey Balloons team were friendly & helpful. My flight was absolutely amazing & an unforgettable experience with, Mike, the pilot. We launched & you didn’t even feel you had left the ground. Being amongst all the other balloon’s at the fiesta was magical & I will treasure forever. Thankfully I booked the morning flight because the evening flights had to be cancelled due to the heatwave. Mike told us to take our landing position & my apprehensions were unfounded to the smoothest landing I could have wished for, even landing upright. A big THANK YOU!!!
Booking the ride was super easy and communication with them about the tickets was easy as well, since I was traveling from overseas (hello from North Dakota!) and wanted to be able to transfer my ticket to someone else should weather not work out for the date booked. Our pilot was super friendly, as were the other staff involved with setting up and giving us rides back to our take off point. The views were amazing, weather was perfect! Taking off felt so cool and so was the landing. We enjoyed the drinks at the end of the flight and chatting with all those involved in making such an amazing experience happen. Absolutely recommend booking a flight with Bailey Balloons!
What an absolutely fantastic experience. It was so calming and relaxing. You just float along so peacefully. We flew over raglan and the views were absolutely stunning. Mike, mark and Richard were so lovely and jolly and everything was just perfect. This was something I thought that I would only do once, however I didn't want to land and I will definitely be flying with them again. I highly recommend, and even if your not keen on heights it's really so peaceful it would be hard not to relax and enjoy the ride, this is something I think everyone should do! Thanks guys, and we'll be back again soon. We want to fly over Bristol next time!
No words could ever describe the feeling you have when floating in a giant basket in the air. I could not recommend this enough, no matter how scared of heights you could be, it has been a magical experience, and surprisingly very peaceful! The crew and our pilot for the night, Mike, were all so friendly, welcoming and professional. Mike was a great guide throughout the flight, showing us many areas and hidden gems, while still letting us enjoy the experience. Great balance. The views were breathtaking, a delight for photography fanatics. It was lovely to see the areas you know from a different view, and spotting wildlife enjoying their evening. I felt very safe, and in good hands from start to finish. Bailey Balloons looks well after their passengers. It was a once in a lifetime experience!
Unforgettable experience. Everything about the flight was perfect. We were lucky enough to fly in our first booking. Weather was perfect, a lovely still warm June evening. It was so peaceful and incredible views. Crew were friendly, informative and helpful. This was a Christmas present for my mum and one she will not forget. Would have no hesitation in recommending Bailey balloons.
