We took the morning tour from Bath to Stonehenge. The pick up point in Bath was easy to find and convenient to our hotel and the train station. Sally and her purple van arrived right on time and greeted our small group with a smile and enthusiasm. The drive was on a lovely route and Sally provided just the right amount of commentary, pointing out interesting sights but not feeling compelled to talk the entire journey. Her enthusiasm for the beautiful day was catching. We arrived at Stonehenge and she fetched our tickets and gave us good advice for how to spend our approximately 2 hours at the henge. We had enough time for a leisurely walk around the stones and a thorough look at the exhibits. The recommended audio tour was excellent. On the way home she made sure to point out the chalk horse on the distant hillside, which morning mist had obscured on our way out. A great way to get to Stonehenge from Bath!! Thank you. (and PS I love the name Scarper Tours!)

The Bath to Stonehenge half-day tour with Dan was simply delightful, even with temperamental October weather. The pickup and dropoff site was easily located. Dan is lovely and charismatic; he pointed out sights and gave great commentary along the drive. Our tour group was only 5 people and we enjoyed each other's company during the tour. The timeframe is just enough to see the site and the visitor center if you don't dawdle. Absolutely would recommend Scarper Tours! I will be looking for other adventures with their company.

Scarper Tours is great if you want a nice small group visit to Stonehenge. The tour stop is so easy to find in Bath, and it gets you to Stonehenge before itβs too crowded. Danβs commentary on the ride there was super helpful to learn more about the region around Bath and on the way to Stonehenge! Two hours is the perfect amount of time to walk around and then the tour gets you back early enough to enjoy more time in Bath or catch a train elsewhere.

This was such a great tour! Dan was a fantastic driver and knew a lot. I appreciated that he pointed out landmarks on the drive and how organized he was. The bus departed and arrived on schedule and everything went smoothly. I felt that two hours at Stonehenge was the perfect amount of time. I will recommend this tour to anyone I know that wants to visit Stonehenge!

The tour group was a good small size and the guide was very knowledgable of the area and made the drive there really informative and laid back - not to mention incredibly scenic! We had plenty of time at Stone Henge and the whole experience was easy with pick-up and drop off in the middle of Bath.

Above all our expectations. Super sympathetic guide/driver who also drove so safely and securely. The trip there went through beautiful landscapes and the time at Stonehenge was just perfect for us. THANK YOU for a really nice excursion.

This was a great drive from Bath to Stonehenge return, with an interesting commentary on the way from our driver Sally. We had 2 hrs to explore the stones and visitor centre, and admission was included in the tour price. Lovely to have a walk in the country and see some fascinating historical landmarks.

A great tour for those that donβt have a vehicle! Itβs the only tour (I think) that solely goes to Stonehenge and comes back, which is all we wanted to do. Lots of others go to Salisbury, etc. Iβd suggest getting to Bath early in the morning and walking around. Lots of great independent shops! The bus is lovely, has AC which was good as we went on a hot and sunny day in April. It only seats 16 which is nice as you feel like youβre on a private tour (and less contacts keeping COVID safety in mind). Dan was very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of unique landmarks and facts along the way. Drive there is just under an hour; then you spend two hours there. I took Danβs advice of walking back after seeing Stonehenge (my parents took the bus) and it was a 30 min gorgeous walk back to the visitorβs centre. We then jumped back in the bus and departed right on time. I definitely suggest this tour for anyone unable to drive to Stonehenge, it was a lovely tour!
