Great local taxi company. Driver Craig arrived on time for airport run, and collected from airport on return, even when plane was delayed. Always a relief to make the start and end of a holiday stress free. Have used them for 5 years now for airport runs and always a pleasure.
Simon and Richard on both occasions were very social and helpful yet professional. Both trips were longer journeys (4 hrs+) yet were both enjoyable and relaxing allowing us to go on holiday with no added stress. After realising we all wouldn’t fit in a car with our cases for our holiday we looked into alternatives, We came across Roman Bath Private hire and weren’t disappointed. There was an easy booking system that’s informs you of all info required and as they said drivers were prompt with communications and pick ups. The cost is slightly higher than Silver zone parking but being picked up at your front door and dropped off again took any unwanted hassle away and is well worth it! Easy to book online and confirmation/communication prompt. Craig picked me up from LHR and kept me informed of his eta and where to wait. It all ran very smoothly despite problems with border force strikes. The journey back to Bath was bliss after two long flights. Very nice touch having a bottle of water waiting. Reasonably priced. I booked 2 taxis. One to the airport and one back 5 days later. Both taxis were on time, clean and the drivers were polite. On our return, our flight was delayed. The driver was great. He kept himself informed of the flight and I was able to contact him to keep him in the loop. He was prompt was we did eventually get back. I highly recommend Roman taxis.
I booked with Craig two days with a private driver. I had never been to Bath and there was a lot I wanted to see. The driver/guide, Peter was very knowledgable and even suggested places to stop in addition to what was on my list. I feel I got a great start in getting to know Bath and Somerset, even extended my original two days to four. He's the best!
Excellent service! Very easy to book, well priced, and friendly! My family and I hired the car service for a day trip to Stonehenge and on the way to London. Our driver Craig gave us recommendations/info on things to do in Bath, and was very accommodating in helping us get a last minute car service to London. 100% would recommend!
We only decided to explore taxi options to Bristol Airport from Bath when we saw the cost of the Airport Parking. I’m so glad we chose Roman Bath Private Hire.
