The most welcoming and efficient pharmacy led by a pharmacist of extraordinary empathy and kindness. Ann has everyone's wellbeing at heart and she and her staff always go the extra mile. My husband and I consider ourselves fortunate it is our local pharmacy.
It's my local Chemist (or Pharmacy as we now call them). Well organised, with repeat prescriptions ready for collection when I arrive (usually). Always been helpful when asking for advice. A nice bunch of people.
Massive improvements with the new owners and staff. I took the time to speak to one lady who had been there a while to say how much better it was there especially the customer service. Only downside is that they're not open on Saturdays - if they did they'd get a 5 star review from me. Well done to all involved to turn this chemist around from a rude chaotic shambles to a pleasant polite and well stocked pharmacy.
Just started a Methadone script and was worried how I would be treated as many places assume you're into shoplifting or other shady stuff to support ones habit. Other than having to drink it there(as it is prescribed) it was like picking normal medication. Zero assumptions was made which made me feel at ease. Nothing worse than people treating you like a thief just because of my chose of drug. The pharmacist even introduce herself, grated I forgot her name already, still I'll never forget a face. Clearly she was happy to help, and showed an interest. That isn't an easy thing to do when it comes to me as I see past the walls/lies people put up/use.
Sorry to say, pharmacy gone downhill. Lack of staff and always a queue, with a waiting time of upto 30mins at times. I had a repeat prescription and went to collect 3 days after being approved...waited in queue for 10mins and finally when it was my turn and expecting my prescription to be bagged and on the shelf, i was amazed to see staff picking my prescription and then was told it had to be checked by the pharmacist....how long with that take I asked...about 20 to 25mins was the reply due to the queue! Same situation the following day and the day after, even today, on Saturday. Support your local amenities is the cry...I try, but with this service, it makes it difficult. So to the management...please take note and take steps to address this. Certainly, considering having future prescriptions sent elsewhere, I am not the only one to be complaining about this.
Rubbish Pharmacy. My husband’s prescription is never ready and always short of medication. They have had the most recent prescription for four days.
Premises are too small, not enough staff to deal with the high volume of prescriptions coming in to be dispensed, different pharmacist every week, no member of staff on the counter because it's so busy with prescriptions resulting in a very slow service. Whatever system they have it's certainly not working, it's total chaos! Even the smoke detector needs new batteries, been beeping for over a year! I changed to Shaunaks in Hanham High Street and had no issues whatsoever. Oldland could learn a lot from Shaunaks!
Pharmacy only open until 1pm as printed on the door even though the opening hours were updated two weeks ago on Google by the owner to say until 6:30PM. Knocked on the window and the staff looked me in the eye and walked off, this was an emergency prescription that they said was available.
Small but always been helpful when I needed to collect and not a long wait
