I attended the pharmacy after being referred from NHS 111 with a fever and an incredibly throat to the point I was unable to swallow. The pharmacist very quickly dismissed me telling me that I didn't have any infection after looking in my throat very quickly. I went home and continued to be very unwell for 3 days after I attended at the pharmacy. My baby daughter was also very sick with the same illness and neither of us were getting better. Eventually we were diagnosed with a Strep A infection when we took our daughter to be seen. I would not trust the pharmacist that I saw with any ailments again. Which is disappointing considering 111 referred me here.

If you go to collect your prescription it'll be out of stock, and if you book a flu jab there'll be a sign when you get there saying they can't do flu jabs, please try elsewhere. If you don't want either of those things and just need some vitamins then bring cash as it's a 50% chance the card machine's broken. Otherwise it's ok, if you don't mind the overall vibe of a shop that was abandoned in 1982 and just rediscovered this morning. If you do like that vibe, you're in luck, as you'll enjoy it day after day after day as the staff tell you that your prescription might be in tomorrow, or maybe the day after, or possibly next week.

Awful. When processing my repeat prescription for 2 medications I am taking, I discovered when I got home after collecting from Lloyds Pharmacy on church road that they had given me 2 of the same medications. I went back the day after (no one answers the phone there despite multiple attempts), they then said the medication that I was still looking to be prescribed was out of stock, with no date for it to be in stock. I asked for the prescription to collect it somewhere else, and was then told it was not possible as they had already given me the other half of this medication request. I have since found out from my GP they shouldn't do this, as by this point it was 3 days since I took the medication, so they should have given me a prescription to collect it at another pharmacy where it was in stock. I've had unwanted side-effects after not taking this medication for 3 days, all because of the incompetency of this pharmacy. An absolute shambles!

Terrible terrible service. Please find another pharmacy. It often takes 3 or 4 trips to the pharmacy before they have the prescription ready to collect. Each time they just say it's not available and try again in a couple of days. No other help or information given. You can't phone to find out if prescription ready because they don't answer the phone. They often have long queues but the staff are out the back chatting, you can hear their conversations. Several times I've been there and the pharmacy has been shut with a note stuck to the door saying no pharmacist available to work today.

I went into this pharmacy to ask for a lateral flow test. Was met by the most awful woman with fading ginger hair and glasses!!! She was the rudest and horribleist store assistant I have ever met. Needless to say they had no lateral flow and when asked she told me to go elsewhere. Absolutely appalled. Never again!!!

Booked flu jab (paid for one) over a month ago, turned up and there are signs in the window saying they aren’t doing them. Haven’t been doing them for weeks. I received confirmation emails and reminders to attend. Ridiculous waste of time. I think the company is likely slowly going out of business so not staffs fault but still.

Don’t expect this pharmacy to be open much longer, non-permanent/intermittent pharmacists mean they can’t dispense medications, so they have to close which leads to huge wait times when open. Staff that dawdle about it and are full of excuses or no answers at all. Ridiculous wait times due to poor organisation and an overall lack of manners, bar 1 member of staff who is great; anyone who’s met her will know her, Lauren, the most professional and apparently the only staff member with customer service skills, problem solving and polite. Shame the other staff don’t follow her lead.

randomly closed because they don't have a pharmacist in and when they are open the queue is out of the door. if you go to collect your prescription they tell you come back in 30 minutes. doesn't matter how long they've had the prescription in, they send you away. People wanting medication are treated very poorly here. it never used to be this bad
