Today I attended the pharmacy and asked for a blood pressure reading as I require this for an up coming appointment. I was promptly turned away and told they were too busy. No one was queuing and I would have been happy to wait. The pharmacist clearly just could not be bothered. I was told maybe tomorrow with a smirk. Extremely rude and not what I would consider from a pharmacist. I have had very positive interactions with different pharmacists previously in Asda Bedminster but today was just awful. I will not be returning here and recommend to avoid if possible.

Cough medicine was always on the shelf, never needed to queue up and ask for it. Young apprentice refused to sell me 12yo to adult cough medicine for myself (adult) and child age nearly 13yo. Instead tried to push the 6yo- 12yo watered down medicine. So I went to LIDL. At Lidl you can just pick up normal household medicine still, like the good old days of common sense. I just picked up what I wanted from the shelf and paid at the till. No questions asked… because it’s not a dangerous or controlled drug… Overreach and power trips lost you a sale and a loyal customer. That’s a few hundred a month on shopping you just lost.

The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. I'm sorry I do not know all their names, but Faizan and Abby (I believe) are absolute stars. Lately I've been chasing up a lot more prescriptions than I'd like, and while there are often problems on the GP side, the team at the pharmacy are lifesavers. It genuinely feels like they care and are doing their absolute best they can to help out. It is worth talking to them to explain the whole situation, so they can help. Thank you all, and I will no doubt see you very soon.

I had rolled my ankle pretty badly and needed to be up and running for a competition. I spoke to the pharmacist and he was able to advise me on which medication to take and how frequently, and how long before I needed to be up and running. He found me an ankle support in the back that wasn't on the shelf. Really good experience here. Very useful service, especially on a Sunday when every other pharmacy seemed to be closed!

If I could give 0 I would or better still no stars! Some of the pharmacists are rude, judgmental and when questioned or you retaliate to how they have treated you they lie about you! They tell you you need ID you get id and they change their minds or twll you you need passport or drivers license, cant even use a provisional licence, I was told they had improved! Ha,yeah, ok they have worsened not improved! Asda need an overhaul on the staff that are there. The checkout operators at the pharmacy are lovely and helpful, respectful and professional. Pharmacists sadly not! They hate you asking questions and if you tackle them about it their answer is go elsewhere! Disgusting, shouldn't have the job if they dont want to help, as for the phone, no one answers it! Its ridiculous! I have now moved my family to a new pharmacy. Im hoping this one is more responsible and professional! They should be shut down!

We have used this pharmacy for a few years it has always been awful trying to get through on the phone. I used to pick up a private prescription and they would often not have enough product and so I would ring to check quantities. The prescription is now NHS and so I have to ring to check it's there, I have tried ringing non stop for hours with no answer it's now 9pm so I know it won't be busy but had no answer since 8pm. The Whitchurch Asda is more reliable

There is ALWAYS a queue. This pharmacy is perpetually understaffed so the staff are always impatient and look exhausted. Since the pharmacy outside ASDA closed they have had way more patients and now take 72 hours to process prescription requests. They really need more help.

Rudest staff of any pharmacy I’ve been to. We’re here because we’re unwell and need care, but the staff make you feel even worse and shouldn’t be working in this industry. Disgusting service. Miserable atmosphere. Love yourself by not coming here

I was left waiting for 20 minutes at the till without warning: the first assistant had my medication, I was card in hand ready to pay and then he disappeared into the back room. I could see him moving around and apparently collecting medicines for others who had left their prescriptions, tapping on a computer then heading into the storeroom and then back to the computer. Four other people created a queue behind me, two of whom disappeared after 10 minutes when no one came out, despite the fact he could have seen us if he looked up. Then assistant #2 arrived, coffee in hand (had the poor guy cut his break short?) Very pleasant, lovely, and after five minutes he suddenly seemed to twig I was waiting for his colleague to come back with my prescription. He immediately went and collected the medication and brought it back out to me. Chap #1 finally came out to help serve the queue (which was growing again now the tills were manned). Talk about chalk and cheese the pair of them!

Sloooooooooooow service, painfully slow. Literally spent half an hour serving the one person in front of me. HALF. AN. HOUR. Flicking through the slips as slow as humanly possible, stopping and chatting every few seconds. Eventually the customer gave up to come back the next day. The sales assistant had no idea about the medication I was asking for, luckily I knew what I wanted. Asking for non branded confused him and I had to point at what I wanted and check the ingredients myself to make sure it was the right thing; totally incompetent. At least he wasn't rude like most of the other staff there. One guy who works there is good. Everyone else is slow, incompetent, often rude and disinterested.
