Rude, unhelpful staff. Terrible communication. Waited two weeks for the prescription only to be turned away. Patient's health and well being are not the considered in this pharmacy. Avoid it. No wonder it's empty and no waiting queue...

Iβm very disappointed with the pharmacyβs service. I ordered essential medicines (Metformin 500 mg, Amlodipine 5 mg, and Atorvastatin 10 mg) on 25th September, but when I visited on 2nd and again on 9th October, I was told the request wasnβt in the system and that the medicines had been out of stock for two weeks. Despite explaining that I had completely run out, the pharmacist was rude and unhelpful, suggesting I go elsewhere. Itβs unacceptable for a pharmacy to be out of such critical medicines and show no concern for patientsβ needs.

Despite the health centre approving my repeat prescription and Jhoots being my nominated pharmacy, today I was told they didn't have my medication in stock and that I have to find another pharmacy which does have a supply. I explained that I didn't need the medication right now but the assistant said they didn't know when they would have it in stock so I should seek another pharmacy. I work, and so finding another pharmacy will be quite difficult not to say inconvenient. Jhoots have been my nominated pharmacy for years and have always handled my repeat prescriptions, so there really is no excuse for this situation arising.

The staff are very direct and not willing to listen. They messed up my name (I am now a Graham). Other Jhoots are so much better, it's specifically this branch I've had difficulty with...

Never have my precribed drugs available let alone just normal pain killers etc... The hours they are open/closed for lunch are ridiculous as well. Says alot that the actual pharmacy closes for LUNCH. I will say that the staff are nice and i feel are being put under undue pressure. Respect them if they're nice/decent please, it's rarely their fault.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. This is, honest to god, the worst pharmacy Iβve ever been to. They never answer my phone and dealing with them face-to-face is infuriating. They are next door to Montpelier Health Centre but apparently they donβt ever seem to communicate with them, given the amount of confusion I face when Iβve had to deal with them. Today was the last straw when they point-blank refused to help me with an urgent issue with my medication. They were so unhelpful, I think Iβd have more luck getting livestock to help with my healthcare needs.

Can't dispute anyone else's experience but I seem to remember they had to deal with the change over from Lloyd's during Covid restrictions, they do serve a busy area n are attached to a busy doctor's surgery. I've been hugely stressed by electronic prescriptions not being dealt with properly by my gp occasionally. I have always found everyone who works here to be polite, professional and obviously working as hard as they can to look after their customers who after all are mostly not well, sometimes very stressed, and need their medication to be right and ready. That can't always be immediately. It's a big responsibility and sometimes you might have to wait longer than you'd like to for you, the people before you and all the other precise work they have to do to actually be precise. I live locally and I've waited longer in various other well known chemists.

So glad I left this pharmacy. I have been having better experience from a different local pharmacy and I'm so glad I have moved pharmacy. I got sick n tired of the poor experience I had a few times. The staff being rude when you go there and if you ring up to find out if medication is ready. They says it ready to collect on phone but it never is. You have to wait around longer for them to see if your medication is ready. Sometimes they give you the wrong medication. It is so frustrating. They lost this costumer like a month ago. They are soooooooo un organised. Stressed for no reason. They need to be organised and get their facts right n do their job properly. No point running in pharmacy when you make small mistakes every time. Please get organised, you have time to do that during your break or in the evening. I wish I could give this pharmacy 0 stars because this is what they deserve. Fix up Jhoots company.

Unbelievably disorganised. Usually a 15/20 minute wait just to get into the building. I was told my prescription had not arrived and it fell to me to get to the bottom of it by contacting my doctor and the GP surgery. After contacting them again I almost had to persuade the person on phone that they did have a prescription request, after some time being on hold I was sheepishly told that they would order the medication without any recognition that they had been at fault. This isn't an isolated incident, I have had similar interactions over the last year. It must be really difficult for the staff there. I've spoken to some very helpful and well meaning people there, special mention to the northern Irish women, but the way that place is organised is chaotic and it makes picking up a prescription way harder than it ought to be.
