Went today to collect a prescription ordered online, only to find a notice saying that they were closed due to having no pharmacist! I don't know how long this has been going on, but I suspect I may have to ask my GP to divert my essential medication to another pharmacy. When they are actually open, there always seem to be several members of staff milling around, but it all looks very disorganised, and prescriptions never seem to be ready to collect, despite advance notice.

Would give them less stars but can't. If you are a patient of the westbury on trym medical practice ask to switch your default pharmacy to literally anywhere else. I have been waiting for a medication for my toddler for over 2 weeks, have run out in the time. They are still 'hoping' to get it in. This is the second time in a couple of months thus has happend. It seems to be the case for lots of their patients.

Absolutely hopeless, I have been trying to get a prescription filled. I keep being told the medication is out of stock and told to try again in two days. I have now been to the pharmacy 4 times and I am now out of critical medication, all they can suggest is that I take my custom elsewhere. So, that is what I am forced to do. I am 80 with a heart problem and it is not easy for me to walk to other pharmacies.

The staff are polite but this pharmacy's service is terrible. My elderly mother is constantly turned away with either minimal medication, or sometimes nothing at all. She needs important arythmia control meds and if she doesn't get them it puts her at dangerously high risk! This week she's been turned away twice after making a challenging walk and bus trip. We've had to use a different pharmacy with and emergency script. Everyone in the says the same thing and head office don't return calls. Shame on you Jhoots

If I could give zero stars I would. They've been terrible here for a long time but today tops it. I had an urgent prescription to collect so checked they'd be open. Online states open until 6pm, sign on door says open until 6pm. When I arrived at 4:50 the door was locked and the lights were on. I knocked, telephoned and shook the door. No answer. The lights were switched off during the 30 minutes I was waiting outside. They are now closed for 3 days. Appalling service.

This pharmacy is awful. I often queue for 45 minutes, only to be told my mums medication isn’t ready. They have even left my mum without her tablets. Which she can not miss taking. The staff add rude and never say sorry for not having the medication my mum needs. Thank god, we have now moved pharmacies. Avoid . Go somewhere else.

I visit this pharmacy between 3/5 times each week and It's fair to say I hated It for months but over time my opinion changed, the staff are always very friendly to me, always promt service and my prescriptions are always there on time. It's been a extraordinary 2 years for all medical services, these poor staff are run ragged, maybe we should be understanding that they are tired and worn down bless them.

Unfortunately this pharmacy has let us down almost every time we use them. Prescriptions routinely not there to pick up, lost orders, missing items and customer service incredibly lacking. They are seemingly incredibly aware that there isn’t another local option - When a complaint is raised they ask if you want to go elsewhere, knowing that to do so would be incredibly difficult. It’s a soul destroying thing to leave a 1-star review on a service that you cannot help but continue to use, particularly at a time when so many pharmacy’s and pharmacists are owed such a huge debt. However I hope those that have easy alternatives may take note that Jhoots themselves may reccomend that you go elsewhere - advice that’s worth taking.

They kept open all the way through 2020, supplying us with vital medication at their own risk. Always a cheerful smile from the counter staff, despite long queues of fretful people and appropriate measures in place (plastic counter screen, room inside & outside to queue at a social distance). In the past I've had really helpful medication reviews with their previous pharmacist. Yes, there's always a queue, but I've been truely grateful to them all ♡
