I’ve just come into this pharmacy to look for something and walked into the security sat on a chair and a man talking to him, as I’ve walked in they have both stopped and starred at me. The security tried to speak to me but I ignored. I walked around the store as couldn’t find what I needed and they was watching me. I then caught the security trying to video me!!! I’m a young girl who had just come from the gym so I’m wearing a gym jacket and shorts and I felt absolutely sickened by how pervy these two men were and trying to record me. I ended up walking out calling them both perverts. As a woman I feel disgusted and uncomfortable and I was only there minutes!!! Sort it out. Any female shouldn’t have to deal with this the second they walk into anywhere.

Called GP to ensure prescription was sent. Been with pharmacy for a week. My son who is Autistic, needs to ensure it’s ready for collection, no text so tried calling 10 times. Chemist is closest for him to collect himself which is important but even though they will have it, they will tell him to call back later in the day to collect which is distressing for him. His independence within his local community is vital for him but each month, there’s always an issue. Got the prescription code from GP along with date & time of electronic completion to make sure that if they say it’s not there, he can show the code that says it is to stop him from being sent back to GP only for them to say it was sent & him to go back and then for them to say come back. This issue is why I left them & even though it’s not the staff, it’s the company itself and unless people launch official complaints with Day Lewis headquarters, nothing will change. The staff are over worked and simply trying to do their job and can imagine how impatient patients/carers/elderly become due to the running and expediting of services. My husband works long hours and then introducing the collection box meant medications can be collected by simply typing a code into it for meds to be issued but he’s found that the staff have said many times, the box only works if staff fill it! The corporation that is Day Lewis is failing at ground level & the staff have to face many unhappy patients on a daily basis. I’m shocked it still operates as a functioning pharmacy. They serve a large community & the company needs to do more to help Our community get the best out of their services. Picture shows how the phone simply rings off.

The staff are nice, but the place seems so disorganised. Why do I need to visit or call to get my prescription prepared? You've managed to do it before without me asking. This is such a waste of everyone's time. What happened to the text notifications? Edit - tried calling twenty times today, never any answer!! Judging by their standard copy-paste response to every other identical bad review here dating back years, they're never going to figure it out. Final edit, I've signed up with an online prescription delivery service. Forget this place, dont even bother.

Probably one of the worst pharmacies I’ve ever had to deal with! 1.Never answer their phone (Client unable to leave the house due to being physically disabled) 2.Rude and obnoxious customer service with no apology when there is a problem. 3.Never have prescriptions on time for delivery and get their head up their backsides when you show your disapproval in the service you’ve received (wouldn’t allow carer to collect prescription either) Means elderly patients are going without medication for days and take no responsibility or compassion for their downfalls. Certainly don’t go above and beyond that’s for sure. Act like you’re an inconvenience to their job. Thought I’d leave a review instead seen as you lot can’t take criticism for poor service/customer service. Glad I don’t have to use them for my prescriptions that’s for sure! Do better!! Be better!

Been there today for the first and last time. The help desk staff member was extremely rude, barking at customers with “Birth!” and “Address!” while typing clumsily with one finger on her right hand. A woman in her mid-60s with glasses and dark hair, whether it was her terrible attitude or just a bad day, the experience was unacceptable.
