Every time We collect a prescription the person behind the counter fails to hand over all items. Part of the prescription is dry stored, the other part is stored in the fridge. They never hand over the items from the fridge resulting in additional visits to the pharmacy.
First time using this pharmacy and the last. I went to collect a prescription and was ignored by the lady behind the counter for about 5-10 minutes. I was just standing there in front of her. When I was served there was no customer service. The shop was empty. Strange way to run a business
A great village pharmacy, where I had all three members of staff eager to help me find some tablets. They don’t have chilled drinks, but it’s not their fault it’s 30 degrees outside. Cheers.
If I had the option I would have given no stars. Back in October I went to pick up my prescription (I had been getting it there for years) and they didn’t have any knowledge of it. They claimed their records last said I had it in August (but I had one in September!!) Theu said they would get it sorted but 4 days later, when I went in, they said they knew nothing about it!! The next day they were shut so I had to get an emergency prescription sorted by Touts in Cheddar. In November I went in and they again claimed to have no knowledge of me ever having a prescription from them!! Despite me putting in a request again after the previous months mess up. So I went to Touts again, who do the job right and were fantastic! They gave me 2 months supply. Then this week I get a text message from Wedmore saying my prescription is ready!!! Really??? I phoned them and they said the last prescription I had from them was October! No it wasn’t! I hate leaving bad reviews and always like to support local businesses but this is just ridiculously bad service. It’s not just me either! They did similar to my mum, so she’s also moved across to Cheddar. So sad after supporting the local chemist for several years.
Shop appears to be short staffed and staff under pressure. Recently waited a full 10 minutes to have phone answered, but gave up waiting. Only wanted to know if my prescription was ready for collection as they've dropped their helpful text service to clients advising when prescriptions are available. Email not answered so no way of avoiding physical trip to pharmacy to establish what's going on. Certainly gone downhill since Allied took over.
I've always received a warm and professional service from all the staff at this pharmacy.
Absolutely wonderful for me! I have a very complicated carrier bag full of meds once a month, with others along the way. It changes quite frequently and cant be a complete nightmare to get right. Wedmore are the only pharmacy who have consistently got it all right in a timely manner. There are many closer pharmacy's to me than Wedmore, but none of them have been able to cope with my medication, so it's worth the journey. They are always friendly and helpful. The advice I have been given from the pharmacists has always been great too. The shop itself is well stocked with a good variety of things you might need and gifts. They are well priced too, often beating the prices of online retailers and main highstreet shops.
The worst pharmacy in Somerset. So sad as this used to be a very good pharmacy. But the staff are very rude, and they are so slow, they don’t bother to come out from the back where they are all drinking tea and talking and they can see there are lots of people waiting to be served. The pharmacist Is useless and I wanted to make a complaint, she wouldn’t come out from the back and made the girl serving behind the till to sort it out for her whilst she mouthed what to do and then went back to giggling in the back with the rest of the staff. It’s so unorganised in there and they also have got prescriptions wrong for my mother on numerous occasions. Since walking in there yesterday I’ve felt so stressed due to the service I received. Horrible place!

Went in to get antibiotics and rang the bell outside as requested if you have tested positive for Covid. A staff member saw me and totally ignored me and walked over to another customer and I then went in saw the number to phone and phoned and a woman brought my prescription out and was very rude and abrupt. My daughter in the meantime had tried to pick the prescription up as when she had tried before me she was told 45 minute wait. A worker then had a go about me going in so I felt compelled to phone and she said she’d had to do a deep clean as I’d walked in and out. With a mask on and not touching anything which was utter rubbish as they couldn’t have done that in the 10 minutes between me and my daughter going in. Also why have a sign up saying ring the bell and the only one to ring is an alarm reset and I’m stood waiting for someone to come out!! How do your customers know that the bell has been stolen as I was told on the phone. They all seem very rude and so slow as I went in a few weeks ago and 6 people working and the lady in front of me was served and no one attempted to serve me and the lady in front waited for ages. I think I will stick to my usual pharmacy in Axbridge in future. Always a smile and willing to go the extra mile.
