   £11 entry on saturday night, there was only one tiny room open. The person working the cloakroom was very rude and mean to my friend, i was honestly scared they were gonna steal our stuff. When we returned to the cloakroom after about 2 minutes there, they gave us the wrong items. Genuinely there was about 10 people and they all looked very young and strange. We had to book an uber to a different club, waste of money and time.

   I have been to Lakota 4-5 times over the past few years. It's always been mediocre at best, but has sometimes been terrible. The bars are understaffed (you could wait 20-30 mins to be served for a single drink), drinks very overpriced, venue is dirty and cramped, security unhelpful and events always promising things they never deliver. There was the "new venue" night where they sold tickets for what was previously their most empty sweatiest room, then most recently the "indie rock festival" which included one mediocre tribute band who weren't helped by an awful sound system. If you're thinking of going, it might be alright, but prepared to spend too much, wait too long and see nothing mentioned on the event description.

   £10 entry with no re-entry policy seems pretty poor. Music wasn’t good enough to warrant staying for the whole time, would’ve been nicer to be able to leave and come back rather than commit to one or the other. Lights/lasers are not as impressive as I’d have hoped.

   Frogged it pretty thoroughly the other night. Everyone looked really good in their UV get ups. Lakota is a great venue, the security ain't too bad. The place has character, as do many of the attendees. Weird and wonderful.

   Great variety of events, lots of history in Bristol. Decent security and water filling station outside. Courtyard area massive and coroner's court next door is sometimes used too

   Really, really well-known venue here in Bristol featuring all sorts of gigs and talent. Perhaps the best live gig venue in all of Bristol. It has multiple floors, which is pretty standard and a very lively crowd. My only complaint is the rampant drug use that happens here and the the unwillingness of staff to address it

   for my first time in Lakota, the atmosphere and music was great! the queue was a bit long upon arrival, however it is understandable as it is a popular venue. Only thing I will say about the club itself is that they do not have fans/air conditioning, which can be quite dangerous during summer and overall made indoors quite stuffy. would definitely go again though!
