I telephoned today around 11AM to the practice and waited for ages before getting someone on the line. I appreciate that practice could be busy, however the person answering the telephone was extremely unprofessional. He talked and joked with someone else while on the line with me, I could hear their laughters clear and loud. He explained to me that I need to make referral with my GP, which I understood completely. Such a dissapointing gesture from a health service provider. I strongly suggest this matter to be addressed and the receptionist to be retrained.

Was scanned by suad I said I wanted a second opinion and she began shouting at me whilst the trans vaginal scanner was inside my vagina! I am going through a miscarriage and she’s shouted at me on another occasion before I’ve never experienced such rudeness and heartlessness from any medical staff she has no empathy for the fact that I lost my child Her behaviour today was actually disgusting and appalling whilst she was screaming I was on the verge of tears and wished I had a chaperone Please do not come here if u go to ur scans alone and if u have this woman she would be very rude to u especially if u have a miscarriage I am now experiencing vaginal pain for the distress she has caused I have the right to ask for a second opinion

I was greeted yesterday by a very polite, pleasant receptionist when I arrived for my colposcopy (the normal entrance to the Tuke Ward has building works, so this was the gynecology reception on the 1st floor). I was then seen by a doctor and a nurse who were both absolutely lovely, friendly, and professional. The doctor explained everything to me thoroughly throughout and made me feel at ease from start to finish. All in all, a really pleasant experience for what can be a somewhat unpleasant procedure. :)

Brilliant staff who work very hard. From the time of my arrival the receptionist made sure I was checked in correctly. I was collected from the seating area by nurse Esther, she introduced herself, introduced me to the Consultant and then her colleague Jadine. Dr Explained everything including what was to happen, the procedure and what pain relief was on hand if I needed. This team was amazing and I was reassured from start to finish. Thank you all for being amazing

Urgently visited Tuke Ward at Homerton for urgent help. Receptionist working on Monday 6th March between 16:00-17:30 extremely rude and obnoxious. Very Unhelpful and she is in desperate need of training and should learn some manners. Made no eye contact and just rude. Made the painful experience i was suffering on the day all the more worse.

Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve had with the NHS. The receptionists are rude and ineffective. They barely acknowledge patients, and actually forgot about me at one point so I ended up waiting for almost 2 hours for a simple scheduled blood test. My 9am scan was almost an hour late as well (how do you already have delays this early in the morning)? Men aren’t allowed in the waiting area, but it doesn’t actually say so anywhere, so receptionists are constantly telling confused husbands and partners to leave. The medical staff seemed disorganised, distracted, and gave me conflicting and inaccurate information. Most people here are at least a bit worried about a pregnancy so it would be great to have slightly nicer people around.

I have to agree with majority of the other reviews .. the nurses/doctors/radiologists are nice and usually the waiting time is not too long. However the receptionists don't pick up the phone all day long and when you go in person they talk and look at you like they want to argue. I have news for you.. the women coming here are going through all sorts of trials and tribulations and don't need your thug attitude.. just be kind its not as hard as you think

Horrible experience with reception staff! Upon arriving at the centre, my husband went ahead and told them about our appointment. Michelle Kennedy the receptionist there, was so rude to him. I mean, you chose to work there. Least you can do is make people feel at ease. Every movement he was making, she had a problem with it. Absolutely gutted and ashamed. All receptionist do is chat and take ages trying to book you in. Homerton, you need to give your receptionist more training. We felt so uneasy and like an outcast. Not happy at all.

My partner and I were incredibly nervous. It's our first baby and we'd been sent in for a scan after a scare over the weekend. The staff and ladies at the desk were great. The technicians were thorough and reassuring. Weren't waiting too long either. :)

Terrible terrible service ! Staff are not equipped to deal with complaints at all. Had a woman call and complain that I was pointing the finger at her when I literally started the call with “pass the message on” its ridiculous! Common sense is completely out the window ! Gave them feedback which they have completely ignored. (Pre procedure requirements) Now again pushed to the back of the list. Homerton in general is just terrible their staff in this department and fertility have no regard for what people are going through . Mess around with appointments, carrying on talking rudely and ignoring anything that is their fault. Avoid at all costs. Never answer the phone and of course always call on no id so you can’t call back. Honestly just think the staff hate their jobs here.
