I have just come to the end of a two and a half year therapeutic relationship with Greg and can warmly recommend him to anyone who might be experiencing life's challenges - acutely or not - or simply curious about their inner world. I entered the counselling space in a highly anxious state, feeling overwhelmed at work, navigating the relatively new landscape of motherhood and experiencing some relationship challenges. All of which were showing themselves in my body through physical tension, pains, insomnia, racing thoughts, tears, lack of joy and a constant sense of dread. I have left the space, not as a woman completely transformed, but as someone who has taken some very painful experiences, looked at them from lots of angles and in doing so unpicked their grip on my soul. I am better able to listen to my body and acknowledge whatever is within me. This does not mean the denial of painful things or undesirable feelings, but accommodating them and learning to shift them when it is time. I leave with a sense of hope and optimism and better able to connect to joy. This is what Greg has helped me to find. Sitting with Greg is a rich encounter. He draws on intuition, experience, his somatic and neuroscientific repertoire and theory and deftly weaves this through whatever arises in the space at that moment. We often went in directions that were completely unexpected, and yet exactly what was needed. Sometimes there was humour, and sometimes challenge, which was uncomfortable but also felt safe and reverently handled. I always left each session with many insights that continued to resonate into the week ahead. Many I will take with me. In short, Greg approaches each session with humanity for and about the person sitting on the other side.

I became very I’ll in June this year. This led to me experiencing very bad anxiety, I was at my wits end and did not know how to deal with it. The NHS were appalling, I was passed from pillar to post. I decided to take things into my own hands and find help privately. When I began seeing Greg I was desperate, however he was very calm and reassuring. Slowly but surely he explained what was going on within my body and how best to deal with it. He demonstrated techniques on how to overcome my anxiety and to recognise my triggers. Before my illness I was a very confident and bubbly person, thanks to Greg I am very close to being that person again. I cannot thank Greg enough for what he has done for me, I throughly recommend him to anyone who is suffering a similar illness.

Although during the process some concepts seemed abstracts, I trusted Greg. I learned to feel comfortable in my own skin. I recognised the compulsions that characterise me, and I learned how to wrestle with them and to integrate them, it’s not so much to cast them away it’s to transmute them to your own advantage. He had a profound impact in my life, he has helped me to chase the person that I wanted to be, and for this I will forever be grateful to him.

I had seen a few therapists prior to Greg all of whom I felt just repeated what I had told them and were comforting but I never felt I was getting anything from them. I came across Greg and he quite literally is a no BS therapist, he really understood my situation and I trusted he knew what he was doing. He challenged me, and allowed me to explore myself in my a very healthy way, whilst guiding and teaching me invaluable lessons throughout the process. Greg has genuinely changed my life in multiple ways beyond what I thought was possible. I'm more emotionally stable and robust thanks to him. I don't see him very much anymore but knowing he's available whenever I need is truly comforting in itself.

Greg has been extremely helpful in my journey to rediscovering self-confidence. In his sessions, I feel like I can express anything I want to freely, without judgement and always knowing that I can take my time. We've explored a lot of background into the way early experiences have affected behaviour and how to move on and forwards through lots of intelligent conversation. His sessions aren't intimidating, but relaxed and up to you to choose what's discussed. I'd definitely recommend Greg to anybody seeking even someone to listen.

This has been the most useful counselling support that I have ever had! I can truly say that working with Greg has changed my life in more ways than one. He listens with an open mind, a non-judgmental attitude and with compassion. The techniques and strategies that he has given me are manageable and with practice can slot into everyday life. If you are looking for a warm, knowledgeable and safe place to heal then enduring mind with Greg is the place to go. I would whole heatedly recommend him.

I cannot recommend Greg highly enough as a counsellor. I went to him for help with depression; not only is my mood vastly improved but so is almost every area of my life. Greg brings a wide range of approaches and great wisdom from long experience of counselling. He is very intuitive - with an almost uncanny ability to put his finger on the central issue. Equally, he has a wealth of knowledge of neuroscience and psychological research. Despite all that he is very easy to talk to; I always felt very safe but also challenged to push myself. I have really enjoyed our sessions as well as benefiting enormously from them. Working with Greg has been life-changing and I only regret not having sought him out sooner.
