Great shop, and kids from local schools get 10% discount (at least we got it on my son’s football boots). They have onsite parking which is very handy in that area.
As a tennis novice I asked them for advice on a new racquet. They sold me one for an experienced player, completely unsuitable, that cost about 5 times what I should have paid for a beginner's racquet. I trusted their advice - never again. I won't be back. Update: it was a little while ago and I sold the racquet to a more skilled friend at a loss. But thank you for the response.
Yet again friendly, highly competent service, nothing is too much trouble. Rugby boots and trainers for my grandson today. Always outstanding!
Great shop to get your rackets restrung. Quick and simple and the staff give good advice. Also looks a well stocked shop for other sports.
Went in for a new tennis racket, having very little idea what I was looking for. The staff were incredibly helpful and took the time to explain the different types of rackets and which ones were similar to my previous one. Really knowledgeable and friendly staff - highly recommend!
What an incredible experience! Went to Gyles Bros looking for a new tennis racquet. I’d read up on a few, but was still pretty in the dark on what to choose. Louie was awesome. He had about a half an hour chat with me about the tech and pluses and minuses of certain racquets. Really knowledgeable and definitely wasn’t steering me towards the more expensive models as I’ve found elsewhere. I’d come a fair distance and Louie sorted out stringing for me there and then. I can’t recommend Gyles Bros highly enough. One of the best shopping experiences I’ve ever had. Definitely stop on by - you won’t regret it. I love my new racquet but it was all the more sweeter knowing that I’d had expert advice and guidance. What a place!

Great independent shop, was in the market for a squash racket upgrade, went in for advice and found the staff very knowledgeable. Asked for a deal on a racket and shoulder bag combo and was given a sweet discount. Highly recommend!
