When I first got in touch with Alex over 4 months ago, I was struggling with anxiety, mild panic attacks and depression. I was not connected to myself at all and I didn’t know who I really was and I doubted every single thing about what I thought I wanted, what I knew, basically I had no real sense of self. Overthinking was an everyday norm for me and I never prioritised myself in a way that served me best. By working with Alex, I learnt how to reconnect with the real, core self, the true me, and how to notice when parts of me are popping up trying to take over control. He held a really safe space for me to explore these parts, even if I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. He’s very patient, understanding and he truly cares. He creates a space where you have no choice but to get to know and learn how to love yourself and all parts of you. IFS has been life changing for me. Alex is also really good at mixing IFS with different techniques, he has a lot of other material to share outside of sessions, he teaches mindfulness and various breathing techniques which compliment IFS really well. I’m very grateful to be able to work with Alex and I look forward to continuing my personal growth journey with him in my corner.

Alex is a living legend… I started seeing Alex about a year ago for severe anxiety and depression. I was lost in terms of my career and personal life. I did not feel joy like I used to and I felt seriously lost. Alex and I built up a strong rapport due to his attentive, compassionate and kind nature. Alex has made it easy for me to open up to him, unlikely any other therapist I have had before. Alex has employed various techniques such as; hypnosis, mindfulness meditations, SKY Breath Meditation and IFS (Internal Family System) to help me with my anxiety, depression and addictions. I was sceptical about hypnosis but after a couple of sessions with Alex, I felt more in control of my emotions, my mind ability to conquer my addictions. Since seeing Alex, my anxiety and depression have been reduced dramatically and I now have the tools to regulate my emotions. Alex is consistent, knowledgeable, supportive and quite brilliant - couldn’t recommend him more!!!

Working with Alex has been nothing short of a transformational experience, and my words may not fully capture the depth and breadth of my journey. Before meeting Alex, the concept of therapy felt abstract, elusive, almost mystical. Yet, in the span of a few sessions, Alex enabled me to overcome several issues I was facing. Right from our first session, Alex's warmth, understanding, and sheer expertise were palpable. His guidance did not come across as mere advice from a professional but as thoughtful insights from someone who genuinely cared about my well-being. I highly recommend Alex to anyone embarking on a journey to understand themselves better, overcome anxieties, or simply to find more peace in their everyday life. Thanks Alex, John.

Alex's sessions have changed the way I approach my life. I’ve had one of the hardest years of my life, having lost my Dad and then my home; my mental health has been at an all time low. I am so grateful to Alex, and to the NSPCC for offering me these well-being sessions during my working day. I cannot emphasise how much more confident I feel in my ability to cope with the day-to-day stuff and to look at the more positive aspects of life.  Alex’s teachings really help to focus my mind and to remember to be kind to myself :).

I have taken awhile to write this review. Not because I did not want to. But mostly because I could not find the words to express my gratitude to Alex. He has helped me so much to gradually overcome the struggles I have been dealing with. His expert methods and kindness has also made me trust not only him but the whole experience itself. It has truly made a difference in my life. I am still a work in progress but my journey into mindfulness is one that I am wholeheartedly taking with kindness and love. For that I am ever thankful to Alex.

Having done a bit of research and tried a few other forms of therapy, I was interested in trying mindfulness based cognitive therapy and came across Alex. The combination of hypnotherapy over the first few weeks to help to calm down with the following mindfulness training has been life changing - it's very much a case of having to put the work in, but despite having only just finished the course I can clearly notice the difference between weeks where I keep up with the practice and ones where I'm more lax. Alex himself is a really personable guy and it's enjoyable to work through it with him. It's hard work sometimes, but you get out what you put in and ultimately I feel confident now that I have a load of tools to use both on a consistent basis and as and when I need them.
