My experience with the clinic has been very positive overall. The setting is quiet and professional, and the rooms are well-kept and comfortable. I’ve worked with Dr Ruth Skillman, who is clear in her explanations and takes a practical, structured approach that I’ve found helpful. The clinic is efficiently run, and the environment makes it easy to focus during sessions. Based on my time here, I would recommend it.

I see Dr Nikos Sarras for CBT while I am adjusting to a recent diagnosis, medication and a changed way of living and working. He is superb. Compassionate, curious, thoughtful. Also stimulating and challenging. I don't merely feel better after our sessions, I am learning and changing for the better. I recommend him enthusiastically to anyone in a similar position.

We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional care and guidance we’ve received from Chelsea Psychology for 1 year. Our son 12, who has ADHD and adoption-related trauma, was struggling with challenges that felt overwhelming for him and for us as parents. From the very beginning, the psychologist, Dr Nikos Sarras created a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where our son felt understood and safe. He not only helped him develop strategies to better manage his emotions and attention but also equipped us with practical tools and insights as parents to support him at home and at school. The positive changes we’ve seen — in his confidence, resilience, and ability to cope — have been truly remarkable. It has been life-changing for our family, and we feel so fortunate to have found someone with such expertise, compassion, and dedication. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr Nikos Sarras to any family navigating ADHD, trauma, or similar challenges. Thank you!

Very pleased with my experience at the clinic. Warm and welcoming spaces which are very comfortable - great for in person. Dr Christina Johnson demonstrates great expertise in her field and communicates in a way that is clear, thoughtful and effective. Additionally, Dr Christina has been very accommodating of a time which works best for me. Overall, I truly value the professionalism here, along with the high-quality meeting rooms on offer.

I am very pleased with the service I received at Chelsea Psychology Clinic! Jodi Gomez was very attentive, listened closely and cut right to the chase. Her assessment was completely on point and confirmed what I suspected my child was struggling with. She provided a detailed report with recommendations that will help support my child’s learning which is exactly what we needed to help with our EHCP appeal. All the staff were professional and welcoming and I would absolutely recommend this clinic, especially Jodi for anyone looking for an Educational Psychologist.

I had an ADHD assessment which was quick and thorough. My treatment with Dr. Rostamipour has been life-changing. My 15 year old son is currently in ADHD treatment with Dr. Patrick Nwagbogu and he couldn't be happier. The admin team is agile and quick to respond. Friendly and supportive staff. Highly recommended!

If you are reading this review because you feel that something is not right in your life and you need professional help, then look no further. I accepted that I needed help and found it at The Chelsea Psychology Clinic. It is situated in a beautiful area of London and in a lovely building. The clinical psychologist that I see on a regular basis, either online or face to face, is very professional. He is so caring and listens intently to everything I have to say. Together we have worked on different therapies and I am now learning schema therapy. Sharing your very personal thoughts with a complete stranger is not easy, but my therapist makes me feel safe and at ease so all my inner thoughts are discussed. He has extensive knowledge after training for ten years on different ways to look at and manage the things that are happening in my life. His support and encouragement really helps me to live my life alongside my anxiety and OCD. Knowing that I can trust and turn to someone for help and advice makes a huge difference, for which I am very grateful. The hardest part is making the decision to start your journey into therapy, but I am so glad I did. The relationship between you and your therapist is a key component to successful treatment, so choosing a therapist from The Chelsea Psychology Clinic could be the first step on your way to better mental health. Good Luck.

I really don’t like to leave negative messages… but I have to this time. The therapist was really sweet and helpful. But the payement system of the clinic is not acceptable! You have to call them and give them your card details on the phone and they charge you before the session ! You have no possibly to pay by yourself online or pay directly at the clinic ! My bank found some weird activity and blocked my card. They called me 14 time in a week time to give them an other card to process the payment. Each time they would try to make the payment in the same minute a fake payment would be also made by a fake institution. It’s abominable for a private psychology clinic to do such thing to people each suffer with mental health! It just makes the patient even more scared to get help. Just to say that I wouldn’t trust this clinic if I were you! And be careful!!

I honestly cannot warn against them enough. Not only were they difficult to deal with but their process for arranging treatment, sending me back and forth over a period of months, issues coming from their billing dept etc highlighted how little understanding they have for mental health issues. Would recommend if you’re seeking a net negative impact on your mental health.

Having visited the Chelsea Psychology Clinic I can confirm they're a highly professional group with an extremely in-depth skill set, with extensively trained and experienced staff. Personally I wanted to work with a clinical Dr because I was not sure what support I needed, so wanted to ensure I worked with someone who was well versed in a range of therapies and had lots of experience in putting them into practice. If you are seeking help for any range of therapies, they are certainly worth contacting, as within my case they were very effective at getting the results I was after. A huge part of this is down to the Dr I was paired with understanding me and my needs and us having a good rapport. You will get what you are after more if you can relate to and trust who you are working with, rather than just being given a treatment, and not believing in it, so being paired with the best Dr for my situation was really beneficial for me. In terms of what to expect, private therapy is not a cheap endeavour wherever you go, and it generally takes several weeks to have a worthwhile effect. For me the important thing was that I got better, but it’s worth asking up front around costs / sessions required. There is also normally a small wait time as well if you are after certain time slots so maybe take that into consideration. Personally, I went through my private health care provider as it brought the cost down significantly for me, and I found the NHS wait times are often closer to 4 - 6 months, with a limit on the max number of sessions. Speak to them, ask questions, and work out what’s best for you. For me, the service was great, and I got the results I was after, but never expect these things to be a magic bullet - be patient and work hard.
