I went to this councillor years ago suggested by my GP and having looked back online, I thought it useful to do a review. While she seemed very good face to face, I’m not sure she was as discreet as she should have been and I later regretted taking very personal details about myself to her. I think ultimately she was judging me. It was a miserable time, which I recovered from by myself. Looking back, I would say there is probably a place for councilling, but it needs to be with the correct person to be more helpful than helping yourself.
