Cannot rate this centre highly enough. The staff are phenomenal. Caring, considerate and compassionate during every day that I was there for 5 weeks. All the staff I had dealings with, reception, nurses and radiotherapy staff were exemplary in their capacity to deal with situations and people going through traumatic experiences. I will actually miss seeing them everyday. The support I received from everyone was immeasurable and I’m so grateful my oncologist granted my request to have treatment at Sidcup rather than travelling to London every day. That was purely a location choice from a travel perspective, I hadn’t checked any reviews prior. If you are ever unfortunate enough to get a cancer diagnosis, be assured you will be well treated and looked after here.

I recently completed 37 sessions of radiotherapy, and I want to publicly record my thanks to the excellent, professional, caring, and friendly staff at the Guy’s Cancer Care Centre at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup. They made a difficult time much easier to cope with. I wish that I could name each of them, but for obvious reasons, I cannot. Thank you, obrigado, mulțumesc! (PS. I hope that the small gift I sent arrived safe and sound and will prove useful!)

Lovely building, bright and clean, very small compared to Guys cancer centre at London Bridge. Free parking for cancer patients, need code for barrier. Chemo room can get very busy as only eight chairs in main room. Friendly staff. They insist on you wearing a mask, even if exempt or you are put in side room on own and have to keep buzzing when bags run out. The nurses come promptly but I feel awkward keep buzzing them. Need more staff here.

The centre is bright and welcoming, the staff are lovely and friendly. My radiotherapy was earlier this year and so appointments were swapped so that people with COVID had treatment at the end of the day. Made my experience much easier. Thank you to everyone.

All the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. Their cheerful approach to everything they do has made my husband's experience of radiotherapy much easier than he expected. They are wonderful people doing an excellent job. Our thanks to them all.
