   Brampton is part of Portishead pre-school and the manager, (Sarah) was very responsive from our first interaction, (and continues to be). We were able to visit both Hilltop and Brampton to decide which setting suited our child best. We had a bad experience with a previous nursery, (especially their settling in process). The staff at Brampton were more than happy to tailor settling sessions around our child. The funding options and any other relevant fees, (e.g. for snacks/consumables) were explained fully and clearly. Our child has settled very well and shows excitement when going into Brampton preschool. The staff work hard to develop good connections with the children and parents. They are also exceptionally good at helping children with additional needs. Our child has a severe speech delay and the staff at Brampton (especially our childs key person Sally), have gone out of their way to support them. The staff have also been very proactive in trying to secure additional funding in order to help support my child. Even without any additional funding Brampton have eagerly liased with our childs speech therapist and tried to help implement suggested techniques. You can tell that the children are at the heart of what they do. I feel this is a sentiment lacking from some other local settings. Brampton are organised, approachable and friendly. They have an outside space for the children to play, amd encourage them to be independant. My child has come home eager to try to dress themselves and put on their own socks and shoes. I couldn't be happier with our experience. We follow their facebook page and see photographs and updates weekly (which you are able to opt your own child in or out of). We are also issued a termly report for our child so we can see their progress. There are also newsletters and other relevant communications sent to parents. I highly recommend this setting for your children.

   Fantastic run Preschool, both my children attended and I could not recommend it enough! The staff were amazing knew both my children’s names from day one and on the day they started got out any toys they knew they would like to make them feel at home! You are not just a number! All these staff have years of experience!

   Fantastic playgroup ( preschool ) in portishead! Great out door space for children to enjoy and play with lots of great equipment for there early learning. ( learning through play) they get to play and go outside in all weather conditions. Great space inside with great toys to play with. All staff are very caring and great at what they do.my 10 year old went here and my 4 year old has just finnished her year here. They both loved it and a great setting before they go off to big school.would definetly recommend.small number of children and good ratio of staff.
