Our experience with the nursery has been absolutely wonderful! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at ease. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive, ensuring that our child feels safe and loved. Our baby has adapted so well, and it's heartwarming to see him engage with the other children and participate in various activities, he is so happy to be dropped off on a morning and will put his arms out to staff and I already know that he adores them. The nursery provides a perfect balance of play and learning, supporting our child's development in such a nurturing environment. We couldn't be happier with the care and support our baby is receiving. Highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a fantastic start for their little one!
My son has just graduated from love being little. He loved it in the pre school room especially when they did trips out to the library or local park. The staff at love being little are great and they now have some great regular staff along with some regular flexie staff who cover holidays which means that they know the routine and the children but vary the room they work in.
Staff changes and shortages mean the remaining staff cannot provide the service or care this nursery used to provide. The regular staff are brilliant but there aren't enough of them to keep up with the number of children the nursery is trying to cater for. The nursery has been having these issues starting July 2022. Babies have been turned away for booked days due to not enough staff, leading to parents without childcare having to take time off work. These days have been refunded, but that doesn't make up for the inconvenience and upheaval. On several occasions our child has been picked up wearing a soiled nappy which has obviously been soiled for over an hour. This has resulted in severe nappy rash (something that is not normal for our child). The staffing issues need to be addressed.
