   This school has been amazing from the go and best choice by far, lots of open space,amazing nurturing staff who truly care, with an outstanding multi proffessional team, parents are also communicated with and involved with there children's future. This is my child's happy place and I know he will continue to thrive whilst under this school and there guidance. Would reccomend this place and wish all schools could be like hedgeways.

   The school building it self looks really nice and professional but its really not, i attend this school as a student and i have just been moved classes because i found it difficult to concentrate in such a difficult atmosphere. There was a teaching assistant that saw something that had happened to me in the cookery room, it was by another student and the teaching assistant didn't say anything about it and neither did i, expecting it to be put on report and it wasn't. I two months later spoke up about it because i expected the school to tell my parents about it and my parents sit me down and talk to me about that sort of stuff. However my mum told the deputy head teacher about it and i was called into office to talk about it later on in the day. She told me none of this was my fault and that they needed to "investigate" the situation and get back to me and my mum by the end of the day they still haven't got back to us. In the holidays something quite serious happened and apparently the school said they had open lines for us to call just incase anything happens that makes us quite vunerable. My mum calls both of the suggested numbers and it goes straight to voicemail so she sends a voicemail as to my knowledge to both of the numbers she was told to call if anything happened. This is why i think if your child suffers with anxiety/mental health problems it is not the place for them because i've found it really stressful for the past 3 and 1/2 years i hope this helped for any parents looking for a specialist school for their children. Keep in mind its really providing for younger students just not so much for older students.
