Liv-Marie's motivation for teaching good technique and passion for artistry in music is so inspiring. Lessons are fun, teacher and student often play together and there's always new material or a new focus each week so lessons feel fresh and progressive. I can't recommend this school highly enough.

   I came to Kodurand violin studio as an adult learner of grade 4. As an older learner I was apprehensive but from my first lesson Simon put me at ease and he has since taught me in a professional, fun and engaging way. He is attentive to what the student wants and steers the lessons accordingly whilst still getting the maximum out of learning. I have come on leaps and bounds since starting with Simon, his teaching technique is brilliant, it’s animated and helps you make your music come alive whilst developing your technique. In our lessons he offers insights into music history, theory and the history around the pieces that we play, this is great as it’s inspiring and fuels my want to learn. I’m very happy having lessons with Simon and plan on staying to complete my ABRSM grades. I would highly recommend Kodurand violin studio to anyone wanting to learn the violin.

   Best decision I ever made for my daughter's music training. Kodurand Violin studio is a real professional and Liv is a real teacher, and I can tell you she is the main reason my child's love for the violin and the excitement for each class. Liv is so successful; build a great friendship with her in fact my daughter is only 5 and a half years old, but she says she wants to be a violin teacher when she grows up.

   I have been having lessons with Liv and Simon for over a year, having not really picked up a violin since I was a child. I have progressed so much and achieved a distinction at Grade 2. I now have the confidence to perform in front of other students and have joined a community orchestra. I really enjoy my lessons as Liv and Simon are relaxed and personable yet still push me to achieve my best. Highly recommended.
