I recently finished my BIR course with BGS and passed all the exams with Swiss FOCA on the first try. The online course prepares you very well for the exam. I didn't have to use other sources for studying or exam preparation, their online question bank is very complete imho. They stick to the important stuff you have to know for the exam and thus don't overload the course. I totally recommend and would definitely subscribe again!

Excellent groundschool, followed the advice of many friends who studied here and I'm glad I did. Course content is well presented and includes everything needed for the ATPL exams in Europe or the UK. Revision weeks were well run and engaging, although organising revision week + 2 sets of exams for both UK and AustroControl did take some doing!

Recently completed my easa ppl training with BGS online. Overall it’s been a good experience, their platform has well structured content with 3 modules that covers all of the topics. I found the questions after each specific topic were extremely helpful to make sure you’re not just rushing through. The platform is easy to use and most things are well explained without unnecessary stuff that is in the pooleys books. A big thank you to Henry Blight who has been extremely helpful whilst I had some technical issues at the start. I did struggle with the NAV calculations and I hope the videos help! The only thing that I would change is having the CRP-1 instead of the 5 (I know there is only slight difference) and maybe have the videos explaining them at the start of mod 1. Also some of the graphs and maps are blurry but this could also just be my laptop! Some topics are 30+ pages of information that can be a little daunting but it’s all part of the process. Using BGS is great value for money, you learn a lot faster than just reading off a book. I look forward to hopefully using BGS for my atpls in the coming months. And again big thanks to Harry!

Best choice for distance learning. I found that their ever expanding video bank was a brilliant tool in assisting my learning and helping me develop a better understanding. Despite being a distant learning provider I felt the staff were always quick with any query or problem I had. Thanks Bristol !

BGS was recommended to me by a trusted instructor, and they were absolutely right. Studying alongside full-time work, the structure of BGS’s course made that possible. Being able to set target completion dates for each module helped me stay organised and fit study around life commitments, while still finishing within my goal timeframe. The course material is clear and well laid out. The tests after each topic and section are great for checking understanding, and the video library is especially helpful for areas needing a little more work. The revision weeks are a brilliant way to prepare for exams. The instructors are friendly, engaging, and bring a wide range of real aviation experience to their teaching. The question bank is one of the best I used. You can have confidence that the instructors understand what the examiner is looking for and the explanations clearly show the reasoning behind each answer. Whenever I contacted the team, they replied quickly and were always friendly and supportive. Overall, I can’t recommend BGS enough, it’s a fantastic school and played a big part in helping me pass my ATPL exams.

I just finished my CB-IR course with BGS, It was easy to subscribe and get going. The material online was good and the application working to my needs. The question bank was relevant with plenty of good questions and explanations. I also sat on two webinars, very professional and knowledgeable ground instructors. I Also have to say when I have called in to the training department they have responded with excellent customer service and helped me validate my exams very quickly with the authority and all the paperwork needed.

The quality of the ppl ground school online course is pathetic. Filled with grammatical errors and jargon. There is no need to use fancy words to explain something. Also no audio explanations or recordings and they call it interactive. Absolute joke.

Worst Experience, They don't even have any records related to membership after every 20 o 25 day account is unable to open and their Manager George Selman says that send from paypal email. They even don't have any records

Highly recommended! I recently completed the first module of ATPL(A) studies along with the exams. So far, my experience of BGS has been first-class! The materials are plentiful - written materials, recorded webinars, live webinars, Revision Week, question bank - all are excellent and very helpful. I am 49 years old with a full-time job so this is not an easy undertaking - so I am very grateful to BGS for their help and support to date.

BGS not only has great quality instructors and support, it's a place that's homely and welcoming to all students by encouraging interaction and communication when a student needs it. The aviation industry can be pretty confusing at times, so having someone to ask many 'stupid' questions to makes it that little bit easier to achieve your goal. I passed my 14 exams after a year of full time work and squeezing in the study where I could, so I couldn't recommened them enough.
