Oli is a great teacher, my son really enjoyed his lessons. Oli’s comms are really clear and helpful too. Would definitely recommend Oli if you’re looking to learn drums.
Our teenage son has been drumming with Oli for a couple of years now; he loves every lesson and is coming on leaps and bounds. Oli is cool (and that from a teenager), knows his music, is a talented drummer and patient, supportive teacher. We recommend him wholeheartedly.
My son, 17, has been coming to Oli for an hour each week for about 6 months now. He is really enjoying his lessons and his skills and confidence are increasing week on week. When he first started he only had electric drums at home so appreciated the ‘real’ kit that Oli has. I know he enjoys it because he’s always practising and looks forward to the lessons. Oli is a great teacher, and is clearly experienced in his subject matter and able to deal with students of all ages. Highly recommended.
Ollie is an experienced and talented drummer himself but also a fantastic teacher. He gives weekly lessons to my 17 year old son and is brilliant at challenging him with new techniques and rhythms. Having two drum kits set up enables demonstration and practice at the same time, which really speeds up the learning. Would thoroughly recommend
I am a 50 something happy tapper, with what appears to be no foot/hand coordination at all. Pat my head while rubbing my tummy? – not a hope. But, Oli has been fantastically patient and even within the first lesson had me playing drums along to a song. My weekly hour-long drum lesson with Oli has now become one of my favourite hours of my week. (it is actually THE favourite, but changed it to “one of” in case my wife reads this review) Would recommend Oli to everyone wishing to learn drums. (PS could you let me know if he wears ear plugs in your lessons or understandably, is that just when I play?)
