   My daughter studied at DA for 11 years. Miss Sam and her team encouraged and supported her every step of the way and she participated in events, competitions and exams, embracing every opportunity. There usually wasn’t a day when she wasn’t at DA - she would say that’s it’s her happy place. She is now studying for her degree at her dream performing arts college but continues her dance teacher training at DA.

   The Dancing Academy has been absolutely transformative for my daughter, Mabel. Since joining, she has blossomed in confidence, found joy in expressing herself, and made friends that I know will last her a lifetime. It’s been incredible to watch her grow, not just as a dancer, but as a person. The teachers — Miss Amy, Miss Sam, and Miss Lilly — are truly exceptional. Their enthusiasm, patience, and genuine care for every child shine through in everything they do. They bring out the best in the students, encouraging them, inspiring them, and celebrating their progress with such passion. Their dedication deserves real applause. What makes this academy so special is that it offers far more than just dance lessons. It’s a nurturing, encouraging environment where children feel supported, valued, and excited to learn. Mabel absolutely adores her time there, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Highly recommended to any parent looking for a place where their child can build confidence, learn new skills, and feel part of something wonderful.

   Both my daughters have done ballet here since they were 3.5 and absolutely love their lessons. The balance between teaching them good technique and allowing them to just enjoy movement and dance seems to be perfect. They have both started tap and modern this year as well and are loving these lessons too. The staff are always very welcoming and seem to enjoy working with the children so much. I also love that there is the opportunity for all children, regardless of ability, to enter exams if they wish, to perform in the bi-annual shows and to take part in things like summer school (which my eldest has LOVED the last two years). A great dance school, would highly recommend!
