Dave is a fantastic instructor, can't recommend him enough! I was petrified of driving before I started and through Dave's tutelage I managed to pass my test 1st time. 10/10 instructor and genuinely lovely bloke.
Dave majorly helped with my anxiousness around driving. I was so scared before driving with Dave! His calmness and practicality helped so much and it's always nice to know an instructor is always on your side! Officially passed today all thanks to his amazing teaching! Thank you so much Dave!
I cannot recommend Dave more strongly! I passed my driving test first time this week and it's without a doubt due to his patience, kindness and expertise as an instructor. As an older learner with experience of trauma and a job that took me out of the country regularly, Dave's understanding, flexible and honest approach to teaching was exactly what I needed to be a confident driver. Even though it was hard learning a new skill in my 30s, because of Dave I looked forward to our lessons every week! Thank you so much!
Dave is an amazing instructor. I came from Afghanistan with zero driving experience. Dave taught me very well. Even though I had too much nerves but he taught me very well. I passed my driving test for the first time with six minor points. I absolutely recommend him. He is the best instructor. Once again thank you so much Dave for helping me through this journey.
Dave got me through my test first time in Newport. Everything was easy, he was encouraging, patient and made everything clear. I was confident I would pass, and I’m confident I’ll be a safe driver thanks to Dave
I chose Dave because of past reviews, and he didn't disappoint. I passed first time this morning with 5 minors and despite what he says, in my eyes it's all down to him and I cannot thank him enough. Dave treats every pupil individually, and gages how they feel on each lesson brilliantly and that dictates how that lesson will go. I had no clue to begin with and was terribly nervous, but Dave never pushed until he could see I had more confidence. When I got to a decent enough level Dave worked me hard on hills around Newport and I had a huge problem psychologically finding the bite, but he persevered week after week and we finally got there. Dave is excellent at building confidence and gives plenty of praise when its deserved. He's also great company and we've had many laughs, sometimes at each others expense. I highly recommend him and I wouldn't hesitate to give ten stars if I could. Thanks buddy!

Dave is a brilliant instructor! From day one I was nervous on the road but he always reassured me and gave me confidence! He is a very patient and kind person which is what I needed.
