   JC Strength Academy is packed with knowledgeable, friendly lifters, great equipment, mountains of plates and the occasional friendly doggo. Jon and Jo lead a special team of fitness professionals who are always on hand to give welcome advice and encouragement. Whether you are a competitive lifter or a recreational trainer, JCs has everything you need. We are always pleased to welcome new lifters; "The bar is loaded!"

   This is the best gym I've gone to in and around Weston-Super-Mare. Although the majority of the members are incredibly strong, no one tries to intimidate you and no one looks down on you. There is only encouragement and sound advice. The lifting equipment itself, especially the bars and racks, are top teir and could not be better. I have not come across better equipment in a gym. This is the place I feel safest in. It is truly the best thing in my life and I'd strongly encourage anyone to come down to this gym and give training a go.

   JC Strength Academy is the best gym around, Jon and Joe have a wealth of knowledge they are always willing to pass on. The community is full of welcoming people whether you are new to lifting like myself or have been lifting for a while. Great atmosphere, strong people, and serious table tennis. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun place to train!

   I really enjoy training at JC, the staff is always lovely and the community supportive. You can find most of the equipment necessary for bodybuilding, powerlifting and weightlifting type training. But I think what I prefer is competing here, the atmosphere is always incredible and the competitions are run smoothly. They organise a lot of fun competitions such as super total or team powerlifting ones. I would encourage anyone who is a bit apprehensive to start on the platform to engage with the staff!

   This gym is awesome! The atmosphere is amazing, everyone is super friendly and the equipment is second to none. They welcome everyone from total beginners to competitive strength athletes, and have some fab coaches and PTs on hand to help. Can't recommend enough!
