   The only reason I have given 1 star is because it is a requirement to leave a review! I have a surve dairy allergy, I was not given a allergy menu, nor did the waitress have any knowledge of the menu! I decided to order PAIN chips to be on the safe side. We waited a long time between courses, which was surprising, as there were only 5 tables in. We order drinks that didn't arrive, but still charge and at one point we cleared our own plates to the side. The service was that bad. Our group had a few queries, regarding our bill, the set menu, pain chips and the drinks that we didn't have. When the manager was presented with these queries, he become very aggressive and rude. I have worked in hospitality for many years and can appreciate this is a difficult time of year, however customer service is key. I would avoid visiting pizza express, at all cost. The standard and portion of food is poorling and the service, for a slow night is shocking, along with the disgraceful attitude of the staff! Over priced, I have had better food and service at the local wetherspoons

   Service here is terrible. The waitress had no clue about food items for my mother’s allergies or offered an allergy menu. We had to wait for a long time between courses even clearing our own plates to the side. And grabbing their attention when we wanted the bill. Even with a slow night. When wanting to split the bill staff couldn’t understand or comprehend it and told us it wasn’t possible. The manager was aggressive and rude when questioned on certain items on our bill including a drink that never arrived. Can definitely say we will not be returning and warn anyone wanting a good night out not to go here. Adding a service charge to service that wasn’t given is a shambles.

   We had Teigan as our waitress tonight and we couldn’t have asked for better service. She was kind and helpful throughout the night. As well as this, our food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. Would definitely reccomend!!

   I had such a fantastic experience at Pizza Express! From the moment I walked in, Teigan and Mada made me feel so welcome. Their service was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly – nothing was too much trouble, and they always had a smile. The food was just as impressive – Andy and Julius clearly know their craft in the kitchen! Every dish was perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they take pride in what they do. It’s not often you find a team that works so seamlessly together, but this group made the whole evening special. Thank you, Teigan, Mada, Andy, and Julius – you turned a simple dinner into a wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

   Firstly, the waiter took our drink order and never came with my drink. I had to wait for the food to come to remind them about my drink. My pizza came uncut. I had to ask for a pizza cutter. After we had our food, we sat for almost 45 minutes waiting for my children's dessert and for the dishes to be removed. I literally had to wave my hands in the air and shout to the waiter asking if they forgot we were here. The restaurant was empty and it was quite alot of staff, so there is no excuse. Only after complaining ,the desserts came. The pizzas are great, but for the service alone..I wouldn't come to dine in again. One of the waiters who served us was constantly on her phone and seemed to completely ignore us. Please get better trained staff with proper customer service.

   The price went up...the service was not good. Make sure you bring your own pizza cutter. The staff put a whole pizza on the table and that's it. No pizza cutter and no spare plate for us to share (she knows we only ordered 1 pizza but there were 2 of us). It takes ages for staff to notice we finished our pizza and we're waiting for dessert. If I didn't go remind the staff we probably would be waiting even longer. Staff were chatting with each other and hugging, I understand you probably didn't see each other for long time and a quick hug is needed, but don't do it when most customers were waiting for the tables to be cleared and waiting for the desserts.

   Booked a table for the Xmas light switch on for me and my boys. Service polite and swift although I did have to eyeball the staff to be served. The restaurant was clean including the toilet. Average food, nothing special. The bill was way more than I had anticipated. 4 pizzas, 3 soft drinks, 1 beer and a small side was £75. Sorry but although it's nice it's to expensive.

   Booked a table for 4, to dine in with the family yesterday as we’ve been here once before. Love the new renovations. The service by Kyra was beyond exceptional. The food came without delay and as expected it was soo good. Would definitely recommend anyone to pop in for a meal if you are in Leicester. P.S don’t forget about the desserts. Thanks to all the staff who worked on the day. Truly an underrated hidden gem.
